Paranormal Activity 2 Tokyo Night trailer

There didn't seem to be any battery-time limitations to his camera and they seemed to always be on even during the most mundane of sequences.

Aoyama Noriko and Nakayama Aoi do decent work as the haunted siblings but their acting shifts wildly from good to over-the-top. While Tod Williams' "Paranormal Activity 2" was also a disappointment compared to Oren Peli's original, it still tried to distinguish itself from the original the use of night-vision technology, expanding on the back story of the original movie etc.

Nagae seems to want to go the other way and draw as much inspiration from the original as he can even going so far as borrowing the same sequences from the original.

It would have been much more interesting if Nagae could have been more inventive with the story have the setting in an apartment complex or have Koichi broadcast the events to YouTube etc.

In the end, "Paranormal Activity 2: Tokyo Night" seemed to be more like a "one-trick pony". A shameless tie-in and gimmick movie that piggy backs on the success of a much better film.

Her brother is filming One of the others reviews already said it start, so I not going repeat that his sister Home coming, she as just back from US but involved in Car crash, that broke her legs and as to be in wheel chair, Brother has to care of her until she get back on her feet.

This movie did have the some of same idea like US one but they use it different way as it they put bit of salt on floor but it get blown away, it just like powder scene in US version which is was much better scene.

Also liked the fact that girl was pulled by her hair in this movie and dragged from the bed. Hair replaced the ankle They soon found that girl who died in crash in US, pass evil thing to her after the crash.

It may seem a bit like of re-harsh of the first movie for most of time, the ending was really good, Some really good entertaining moments near the end and some really good scare that creepy you out scary stuff that happens out of the house I enjoyed this movie a lot more then US sequel.

Really good movie. Fields 18 April Then I saw the trailer for it and thought it looked horrible. Being a big fan of Paranormal Activity films, I really wanted to see it.

Unfortunately, they didn't release it here in America, and I'm still waiting. However, I managed to get that chance to watch it but I couldn't understand a word they were saying since there was no subtitles on the transfer I saw.

To be honest, this film feels just like the first Paranormal Activity. It begins with the guy in front of the mirror adjusting his camera, a lot like Micah's opening scene on the first one.

Then he goes out to his driveway to a car where some girl is But unlike the first Paranormal Activity, it begins with something happening early on in the film.

He puts a mound of sugar on the door and finds out that it mysteriously gets wiped all over the floor.

I also like that they kept the whole Night 1 title card that the Paranormal Activity films have. The unfortunate thing is that the first half of the film just feels like a rehash of the first one.

Doors opening and closing, the girl screams out of her sleep, sometimes just going nuts for some reason. As I'm watching, I'm waiting for something different to happen.

It has to offer something new eventually. It does. For the last thirty minutes or so of the film, things get a little crazy.

There's a moment in the film that is creepier than any of the American Paranormal Activity films never achieved.

I won't spoil it, but let's just say you will know when you see it. There's also a little twist in the end, where you think it's going to end the same way as the first film It does tie into the franchise and worth a watch if you like these films.

Next time I see it, I'm watching it with subtitles so I know what they're talking about. There's a lot of slow parts, though.

Then again, so did the American versions. I saw that many people have different views of this movie. Just like the other American Paranormal Activity movies, this one has its pros and cons.

In some aspects it's a little better than the American Version, but in other aspects it's not as good.

When it comes to scary, it delivers pretty much the same amount of frights and if not somewhat better.

When it comes to the story, it drives off from the original story into a new one that doesn't seem so creative. There were some surprising new elements into this installment, some that were good and some that were not as much.

The ending was a bit weird, but I thought that was better than the original American ending. I just wish that the script wasn't so rushed.

But some people differ from this opinion saying it's better than the American Version and some prefer the American one.

But this is just my point of view, I think I'll stick to the American version, though I wouldn't mind seeing another Japanese installment.

Haruka Yamano Noriko Aoyama returns from America to Tokyo in a wheelchair with both legs with multiple fractures in a car accident and is helped by her father and her brother Koichi Yamano Aoi Nakamura.

Their father travels to Singapore for business meetings and Koichi takes care of his sister and films her most of the time with his camera.

On the next morning, Haruka tells that her wheelchair had moved during the night and Koichi check the windows of her room to see if a stranger has broken in their house.

He tells that probably a spirit had moved the wheelchair and he uses salt near the door of Haruka's bedroom to protect her against evil spirits.

However, on the next morning they find that the salt is spread near the door. He checks the tape and believes that the house is haunted by a ghost.

He decides to tape his room too and along the days, weird noises and events happen in the house. They invite the priest Saionji to purify the house against ghosts and along four days nothing unusual happens.

Haruka tells to Koichi that, in America, she had hit a woman called Katie that had just murdered her boyfriend and appeared in front of her car.

Their father returns home but he needs to travel again. But on the fifth night they see in the tape that the house is still haunted.

Koichi decides to call Saionji again, but they learn that the priest had died five nights ago after leaving their house.

Haruka discloses to her brother that weird things had happened to her also in America. Further, she tells that she had researched the life of Katie and had found that the girl was also haunted by ghosts.

Now the fiend is more violent and still haunts the siblings and they do not know what to do. After the original "The Blair Witch Project", many low-budget movies made with hand-held camera have been released.

However, the remake of a bad film may be even better, but never a great film. Last but not the least, this is the first time that I see a Japanese remake of an American film and both do not worth watching.

My vote is four. I think one reason why people didn't like PA4 is because it seemed so random and without reason that "Robby" would come over to stay at the neighbor's house while Katie was in the hospital.

Paranormal Activity 2: Tokyo Night fills in this gap. This is a fairly slow moving movie, but I enjoyed it.

I think if the version I watched had better subtitles, I might have concentrated less on what was trying to be conveyed and more on the characters.

I am giving this a 10 star rating because it does not deserve 5. The ending is very freaky for sure. I don't scare easily either. I like how they spliced the footage from the house and the footage from the morgue to finish it.

I think multi-footage adds some realism to the genre. Toshikazu Nagae, the director already made a horror in , Gosuto shisutemu.

It is said that it was a sequel to the original one but I guess that it was said for promotional reasons only. This is just a remake from the original one.

Funny, we are used to see it go otherwise. Normally Japanese flicks are remade by Hollywood. You love or hate the Paranormal franchise.

I like them but with this one I missed something. For me the best part were the last 20 minutes. Official Sites.
