Transformers: The Last Knight (2017) - Bumblebee vs Nemesis Prime Scene (7/10) - MovieclipsBumblebee helped their human allies escape from several Steeljaws , and though he could not stop the ships anchors from being detached, causing the humans to fall towards Chicago, he still managed to save them by swinging down on the cables and grabbing them out of the air.
Given a lift by Crosshairs in a stolen gunship, 'Bee had to take over piloting the craft while Crosshairs engaged Lockdown's pursuing henchmen, and although he managed to lose the ships chasing them by diving into an underground roadway, he then promptly crashed the gunship into the city streets.
After the war however, Bumblebee resumed his search while Hot Rod remained behind. As the decades passed, Bumblebee would not come to remember World War II as a particularly noteworthy conflict.
In the years since Optimus Prime's departure into space in search of the Creators, Bumblebee retook command of the remaining team of Autobots on Earth.
He and Cade came to the aid of Izabella after her Autobot companion Canopy was killed with Bumblebee himself destroying one of the attacking Sentinels.
He blew himself apart, only for his individual pieces to piece back together and reassemble himself in order to dispose of the TRF forces, giving their side the advantage.
With Cade easing the standoff to prevent any collateral damage and Hound arriving at the scene, he urged the TRF to lower their weapons and allow them to leave, but not without the TRF tagging Bumblebee with a tracker.
Back at the junkyard where the other Autobots camped, he struggled to keep the team in order, with Grimlock stealing the local sheriff's cruiser and Crosshairs questioning his leadership skills, with whom he engaged in a small brawl.
It wasn't helped by the arrival of the unscrupulous Daytrader , who brought with him more of his shady trinkets, which included a Vatti Bot which Bumblebee angrily crushed and the deceased Starscream's head.
The next morning, however, a convoy of Decepticons were heading towards at the junkyard. While Hound and Trench held the line, Bumblebee and others fled to a nearby town where Drift discovered and disabled the tracker the TRF had placed on Bumblebee.
After the Decepticons had been lured into a trap, Bumblebee personally slew Mohawk before a Headmaster by the name of Cogman arrived on the scene to escort Cade to England to meet Sir Edmund Burton.
Bumblebee accompanied Cade as extra muscle. At the castle, they were initially greeted by a tank Transformer suffering from "robot-dimentia" attacking them before Sir Edmund scolded him for firing at guests.
Burton then expressed joy at seeing Bumblebee despite the Autobot not remembering him. It was then that Bumblebee was reunited with Hot Rod, who had sort of kidnapped a woman named Viviane Wembly.
When the TRF arrived, Bumblebee served as a getaway car for Cade and Vivian, depositing them at her flat before he took the two to the HMS Alliance , during which he managed to get his Decepticon nemesis Barricade off his tail by blasting him aside.
Leaving Hot Rod behind, Bumblebee took hold of the massive femme as she submerged and took the humans to a submerged Cybertronian ship. Inside the ship, however, the group was forced to split as ocean debris had made the path accessible to humans but inaccessible to Bumblebee.
He caught up with the two soon after Viviane had found the Staff of Merlin and seconds before Nemesis Prime arrived to demand the staff. After threatening Viviane's life for it, Nemesis walked out and Bumblebee, spurred on by Cade, followed Nemesis to try and reawaken his true personality.
On the deck of the ship, Nemesis promptly beat Bumblebee into submission only for the sound of Bumblebee's true voice to reawaken Optimus Prime.
Allying with the Guardian Knights , the Autobots flew to Cybertron to confront and destroy Quintessa while Viviane removed the staff from the ignition chamber to halt her plan.
Though Cybertron's reconnecting and shifting geology proved an obstacle, the Autobots made it to the area of the ignition chamber only to be faced by a Decepticon army backed up by a gun emplacement and Infernocus ; they were eventually destroy by Optimus and Sqweeks.
Salvation came when the British military caused a nearby chunk of Cybertron to swing and impact the ignition chamber.
In the temporary state of zero gravity, Bumblebee took the opportunity to kill Nitro Zeus by blowing up his head.
Optimus then distracted Quintessa allowing Bumblebee to blast her from behind with a quippy one liner and Viviane to remove the staff saving Earth.
The Last Knight. A scout under the command of Optimus Prime, B was part of the final battle for Cybertron — a battle that ended with the Autobot position overrun by the Decepticons and necessitating a full-scale Autobot evacuation of Cybertron.
As part of this evacuation, Prime tasked him with a reconnaissance mission to the distant planet of Earth —its location hidden from the Decepticons—in the hopes that the scout could establish a base for the Autobots to regroup and strike back.
Launched off-planet aboard an escape pod , B crash-landed in California in the year , having the bad fortune to land in the woods where Sector Seven agent Jack Burns had been conducting a training exercise.
Trying to flee the hostile humans, B quickly scanned a jeep alternate mode to make his escape and fled through the woods until he was cornered outside of an abandoned mineshaft.
Despite his best intentions to assure the humans of his good intentions, the Autobot scout found himself attacked by the Decepticon Blitzwing. Believing that B knew the whereabouts of Optimus Prime and his forces, the Decepticon grappled with the little Autobot in an attempt to get him to speak; when his foe retorted that he would never disclose Prime's location, Blitzwing "made it official" by ripping out B's voice box and greviously injuring him by hurling him off a cliff.
Before the Decepticon could execute him, however, B emerged triumphant by jamming one of Blitzwing's missiles into the Decepticon's superstructure, blowing Blitzwing to smithereens.
His voice box damaged, his memory cells offline, and his body failing, the critically wounded B was able to limp to a nearby riverbank, and before entering stasis he was able to scan a new disguise: a Volkswagen Beetle.
It was in this form that B remained for some time while he recovered, and at some point the derelict car found its way to a run-down salvage yard in Brighton Falls , where it was sheeted and left to rust.
In August of that year, B's derelict form caught the attention of Charlie Watson , and while trying to start the car she triggered the Autobot's radio, broadcasting a signal that inadvertently reached the Decepticons Shatter and Dropkick on Saturn.
Several days later, on her eighteenth birthday, yard owner Hank allowed Charlie the car as a birthday present if she could get it to start.
After fixing the engine, Charlie drove her new car home, and while repairing the car her investigations inadvertently revealed B, still wounded, mute, and amnesiac from his battle on Earth.
Inspired by the buzzing noises of his broken voice box, Charlie named him "Bumblebee. The next morning, Sally Watson used her daughter's car to drive the family dog to the vet, with Bumblebee almost revealing himself to a panicked Charlie as she tried to catch up with him.
That afternoon, Charlie took him to a nearby beach to teach the Autobot that he couldn't reveal himself to other humans , and during a subsequent walk in the woods Charlie wound up activating a garbled hologram of Optimus Prime, jolting Bumblebee's memory and reminding him of Prime's final battle on Cybertron.
His continual attempts to communicate with his broken radio inspired Charlie to replace it with the radio from her late father's Chevrolet, and Bumblebee's curiosity about her old diving tapes and records prompted Charlie to open up about the passing of her father and her difficulty coping with his death.
As Bumblebee played with his radio, the noise attracted the attention of Charlie's neighbor Memo , and after swearing him to secrecy the pair went for a drive in Bumblebee, with the two humans realizing that Bumblebee was trying to use the radio to communicate.
Following an antagonistic encounter with Tina Lark at a cliff-diving party hosted by Tripp Summers , the trio decided to get revenge by pranking her house; Bumblebee got carried away while egging her car, however, and wound up destroying it entirely.
Their hasty escape caught the attention of Sheriff Lock , and Bumblebee was able to easily evade the sheriff's police cruiser during the subsequent police chase.
Realizing that she couldn't drive Bumblebee the next morning, Charlie left him in the garage while she went to work, though Bumblebee's curiosity soon got the better of him, and his clumsy exploration of the Watson home had him inadvertently destroy the house's interior in the process, while his experiments with an electrical outlet led to a massive energon surge.
His destruction of the house caught the attention of Memo, who called Charlie home from work to deal with the problem.
Though Memo was able to coax Bumblebee back to the garage to lie low, they were unable to clean up the house before Charlie's parents arrived, and the ensuing argument led to Charlie leaving home in Bumblebee Bumblebee transformed to robot mode to carry Charlie to safety, and although he was able to outmaneuver the humans he was ambushed by Shatter and Dropkick, who took the little Autobot prisoner.
Their interrogation revealed Prime's hologram; armed with the knowledge that the Autobots were on their way to Earth, the two Decepticons left to call in their army to finish off their foes—but not before blasting their prisoner.
Thanks to Charlie and Memo jury-rigging one of Sector Seven's electrical guns, the two were able to blast enough electricity into Bumblebee's systems to bring him back online, the reboot restoring his memory cells in the process.
Cornered by Sector Seven agents, a weakened Bumblebee only found the strength to fight back after watching Agent Burns manhandle Charlie, blasting the humans until Charlie was able to talk him down; despite his human friend's belief that they needed to hide, Bumblebee set out to stop the Decepticons, bringing Charlie with him.
The pair raced through the streets of Brighton Falls, accompanied by Charlie's family and pursued by more Sector Seven agents, until they reached the radio antennae that Shatter and Dropkick had repurposed into a makeshift Cybertronian relay to contact the Decepticon fleet.
Bumblebee leapt into action immediately, killing Dropkick by tearing him apart with a chain and rescuing Agent Burns's disabled helicopter from crashing.
As Charlie tried to manually disable the Decepticon relay, Bumblebee was able to narrowly prevent Shatter from taking her down, and as the pair battled in the dry dock below Bumblebee was able to blast the dam holding back the ocean, allowing the rush of water to fatally crush Shatter against a ship.
With the Decepticons vanquished, Charlie dove into the water to guide Bumblebee back to shore, and as the pair recovered from their ordeal Agent Burns, having realized the error of his ways, allowed them to leave before his reinforcements arrived.
His memories restored and his body healed, Bumblebee drove Charlie to the Golden Gate Bridge to say his goodbyes so that he could reunite with the other Autobots and continue his mission on Earth.
After thanking his human friend for helping him find his voice, Bumblebee scanned a passing Camaro and drove off, meeting up with Optimus Prime on the bridge and driving away.
In the woods that night, Prime commended the scout for his bravery as the pair watched more Autobots arrive on Earth. Before coming to Earth, Bumblebee was part of the crew of the Ark , searching through space for the lost AllSpark.
In , Earth-time, the crew encountered an alien ship, the Ghost 1 , in an abandoned solar system. After the ship turned tail and headed for one of the local planets, Optimus Prime sent Bumblebee down after it.
Bumblebee located the ship, and was about to approach it when Starscream arrived, and he was forced to retreat under the Decepticon's superior firepower.
Shortly after Bumblebee discovered some apparently artificial pillars, the ground gave way beneath him, and 'Bee found himself plunged into a cave system.
With his radio damaged, he explored the caves, and was attacked by giant, monstrous worm creatures, whose organic nature did not make them any less challenging as opponents.
Fortunately, Optimus arrived in time to save him. Prime and Bumblebee had a brief encounter with Starscream and the Ghost 1 , the crew of which had been persuaded by the Decepticon that the Autobots were the aggressors in the Transformer war.
The pair retreated back below ground, and later found the Ghost 1 in a battered state, having been abandoned by Starscream. Bumblebee made contact with its crew, a species known as "humans", and the earlier misunderstanding was soon cleared up.
When more of the worm creatures turned up, Bumblebee acted as a diversion so Optimus could blast a way out of the caves, and everyone escaped intact.
They returned to the Ark in time to fight the Decepticons once more. Bumblebee joined Ratchet in attacking Barricade, though the Decepticon gave them more than enough trouble.
When the Ghost-1 and its crew were lost during the battle, the Autobots turned their attention toward the planet from which it had hailed Ghosts of Yesterday.
Following the battle of Mission City and the destruction of the AllSpark, Bumblebee's guardianship of Sam Witwicky meant that he was not an activate participant in any missions carried out by the forces of NEST.
The Veiled Threat. Bumblebee was at Edwards Air Force Base with Ratchet when they received word that two Cybertronians in transition forms had landed near Hurley's Crossing.
The pair went there by helicopter and encountered Reverb , who claimed to be a Decepticon defector hunting down another Decepticon who was after the technology at Hawthorne Army Depot.
Though Bumblebee was highly skeptical, he followed Ratchet's lead, and they took Reverb to the depot. When they reached it, Kevin Bowman let them know that Gears was an Autobot and in reality trying to protect an ancient weapons cache.
The warning came too late, as Reverb turned the weapons on Bumblebee and Ratchet, who were unable to penetrate the personal forcefield Reverb had acquired.
Despite this, Bumblebee lasted out Reverb's defeat with minimal damage. Switching Gears. When Bumblebee and Gears were left at base, they received word from Douglas Porter that the Decepticon Blowback was heading up to Battle Mountain where a storehouse of Cybertronian artifacts had been discovered.
The pair were compelled to travel to Battle Mountain with Kevin and Douglas, though Bumblebee made a detour to a Kwiki-Burger on the way.
On arrival, they were attacked by Blowback and his men, and by the time they'd dispatched the four Decepticons, Kevin and Douglas had found the storehouse.
They were subsequently picked up by Ironhide and taken back to face Optimus Prime's anger at them having gone off on their own.
Battle Mountain. The trip was cut short when the convoy was ambushed outside Beatty by Reverb and some stolen Hyperdynamix autonomous tanks.
They caught a break when Reverb was called away to the nearby Hyperdynamix Aerospace facility, and while Gears and Kevin followed the Decepticon, Bumblebee remained to protect the remains of the convoy.
Satellite of Doom. Bumblebee was born over 10, years ago, one of the second generation of Cybertronians spawned by the AllSpark since its rediscovery and the revitalization of Cybertron.
One day, when the AllSpark suddenly began giving off energy spikes, a nervous Bumblebee was troubled by the fact that planetary leaders Optimus and Lord High Protector Megatron were more concerned with a nearby archaeological excavation than with the source of the spikes, but Cliffjumper reassured him that they could handle whatever came their way.
He would soon regret those words when aliens from the nearby Eshems Nebula attacked Simfur. The pair were seeking cover inside the temple when Lord Megatron swooped in, berated them for not taking the fight to the enemy, and destroyed their opponent.
Defiance 1 Instructed to stay out of the military's way, Bumblebee was concerned that the attack signalled the start of something big , but Cliffjumper was unconcerned on the basis that two lowly guards wouldn't be part of whatever it was.
Prowl agreed, ordering them to stay at their posts, after which he quizzed them on how the AllSpark had reacted during the battle.
Defiance 2. His ambition ignited by the mysterious relic discovered at the archaeological dig, a power-hungry Megatron sought to have Optimus disposed of, and sent a team led by Prowl—including Bumblebee—to apprehend him on charges of treason.
When Optimus angrily demanded to know what he had done, Bumblebee pointed his weapon at the science leader and said they were just following orders, which seemed to satisfy Optimus.
What 'Bee and the other security officers didn't know, however, was they were being led into a trap; on the way to the city of Metrotitan , they were ambushed by a soldiers loyal to Megatron, who had been ordered to kill them all, save Optimus.
Bumblebee helped haul Arcee to safety after the group was hit by an explosive round, and Optimus ordered them all to withdraw to Burthov while he took care of their attackers personally.
Defiance 3 Foundation 3. After it was learned that Megatron had rebuilt his Defense Force as an army known as the "Decepticons", Optimus—now Optimus Prime , embracing his destiny—organized Bumblebee and the others loyal to him to stand against Megatron's forces as the "Autobots".
While on an apparent scouting mission, Bumblebee and Arcee discovered the Decepticon starship Nemesis while it was under construction; some time later, when the vessel was complete, they also observed as the majority of the Decepticon forces boarded.
Defiance 4 Returning to the camp at Burthov, they and all the assembled Autobots watched at the Nemesis took off. Foundation 3 With the bulk of the Decepticons gone, the Autobots launched their first strike against the Decepticons, and the war between the two factions truly began.
Defiance 4. After years of war, with no end in sight, Bumblebee participated in an assault on Simfur Temple to activate the " torch " Sentinel Prime had created, which Sentinel had promised would end the conflict.
Foundation 3 Alas, Starscream blew up Sentinel's ship , and Bumblebee retreated with the rest of the Autobots. However, the battle had weakened Decepticon forces to the extent that the Autobots were soon able to steal the AllSpark.
Foundation 4 After moving the relic around the planet, Optimus Prime finally made the desperate decision to launch the AllSpark into space to put it beyond Megatron's reach.
This decision took Bumblebee by surprise, but he supported Optimus. Defiance 4 Bumblebee was placed in command of a small Autobot unit at the AllSpark's hiding place in Tyger Pax , on the assumption that the Decepticon would focus their attention on Simfur; unfortunately, Megatron sensed the AllSpark's true location, and Bumblebee and his men found themselves under attack by the Decepticon leader and his troops.
Swindle tried and failed to torture the AllSpark's precise hiding spot out of Bumblebee, forcing Megatron to take up the task, but even 'Bee did not know exactly where it was—moments later, both he and Megatron could only watch as the cube was blasted into space from a launch site nearby.
A furious Megatron crushed Bumblebee's voice capacitor beyond repair in a petty act of revenge and took off after the AllSpark; although the young bot survived and was dubbed a hero for his actions, he feared that all the Autobots had done was potentially spread their war to other worlds.
Movie Prequel 1. Louis , Missouri. There, he used a remote link to a coffee shop computer to search Shwiggle for any signs of extraterrestrial sightings, and discovered the story of Captain Archibald Witwicky , who claimed to have seen an "Ice Man" that Bumblebee recognized as a frozen Megatron.
Movie Prequel 3 Bumblebee's followed Witwicky's trail to an asylum in Baton Rouge , Louisiana , where the late captain had been committed, Movie Prequel 4 then headed downtown to another asylum that had computerized records he could scan.
Having thus obtained a list of Witwicky's descendants, Bumblebee set course for Springfield , Missouri, in search of his son Clarence , evading an attack by Sector Seven along the way.
In Springfield, he found records of Clarence's children and started out to track them down, starting with his eldest son Ben in Denver , Colorado.
Ben proved a dead end, so 'Bee took off for Tucson , only to be again attacked by Sector Seven, evading their helicopters by blinding them and rocketing off at high speed.
Not long after, he learned the Decepticons had followed him to Earth when he was attacked by Barricade in the desert.
Planetfall Interlude. Escaping his various pursuers, a damaged and smoking Bumblebee stopped by the roadside on the way out of Colorado to rest and recover.
Suddenly detecting a burst of AllSpark energy, he trace the source to New Mexico , where Barricade tracked him down and attacked once again.
Other Decepticons, meanwhile, attacked the energy source and found it to be a Sector Seven ruse; consequently, assuming Bumblebee would have further leads they could exploit, Barricade let 'Bee escape so that they would be able to covertly track his movements.
Eventually, Bumblebee's search took him to Tranquility , Nevada , Movie Prequel 4 where he would soon encounter Sam Witwicky, whom he befriended and allied with during the subsequent battle for the AllSpark.
Transformers: Movie Adaptation. Immediately following the battle in Mission City , Bumblebee had his legs reattached by Ratchet, then he and the other Autobots rolled out to avoid Sector Seven's inquiries.
Before departing Sector Seven's Nevada base with the convoy, Optimus Prime gave the surviving AllSpark sliver to Professor Vine for safekeeping, but had second thoughts about his decision partway into the mision and sent Ironhide and Bumblebee back to the facility to retrieve it.
Racing ahead, Bumblebee was greeted with an unexpected sight: the base aflame, and Decepticons Wreckage and Starscream brawling in the midst of it all.
Alliance 2 Convergence chapter 4 Ironhide praised him for his bravery and selflessness, Bumblebee regretted not being able to save everybody.
Alliance 3. Two weeks later, Bumblebee was present for the burial at sea of Jazz and the Decepticons, following which it was announced that the Autobots and Lennox's team would be working together as a new special unit, dedicated to protecting the Earth from threats posed by the remaining Decepticons.
They began training on the island of Diego Garcia, but it took time for the humans and Autobots to learn to work together; during a training exercise on a shooting range, when Bumblebee instinctively fired on a target, he only narrowly avoiding blasting Epps in the process.
Bumblebee and Lennox chased Swindle onto the deserted Golden Gate Bridge , where the Decepticon was amused upon realizing who it was he was facing once again.
When Swindle turned on Lennox, however, he learned the folly of underestimating Bumblebee, who blasted his one-time torturer through the back, killing him.
Alliance 4. Concerned that Sam Witwicky would become the target of the Decepticons again, Optimus selected Bumblebee to act as Sam's guardian again and sent him to live with the boy.
Alliance 4 However, Bumblebee's attempts to integrate himself into Sam's life were not as smooth as he had hoped.
Without the team structure of the Autobots, Bumblebee tended to act upon instinct, taking revenge on Mikaela's ex-boyfriend Trent DeMarco for his previous humiliations of Sam by wrecking his truck, smashing a would-be car thief with the door he was attempting to unlock, and inadvertently giving Sam traffic tickets by not observing the rules of the road.
When Bumblebee was alone, he attempted to learn as much as he could about human culture, feeling that he owed it to his friend.
Tales of the Fallen 1 Though no longer on active NEST duty, Bumblebee very occasionally helped his Autobot allies out; in November , he came on-scene to assist his team-mates after Demolishor had Tales of the Fallen 2.
Soon, the problem of Sam's impending departure for college arose: 'Bee intended to follow Sam wherever he went, but Sam feared that he might not be able to bring his car along with him.
Not thrilled the prospect of Bumblebee continuing to live with them, Sam's father Ron decreed that once Sam had gone to school, Bumblebee would have to leave.
However, unexpectedly, Ron came to Bumblebee seeking aid when Mikaela reported that Sam had never made a rendezvous with her. Speeding out of the garage without Ron and without waiting for the garage door to open , Bumblebee searched for clues to Sam's whereabouts and eventually found a message from his old foe Barricade, who demanded the AllSpark in exchange for the boy.
Finding the pair at an car wrecking yard, Bumblebee attacked Barricade, but was considerably outmatched, with the Decepticon gloating that Earth had made the Autobot soft, and their last encounter was down to pure luck.
Eventually, with a distraction from Sam, Bumblebee was able to force Barricade into a pool of gasoline. With the Decepticon hardly down for the count, Bumblebee told Sam to run and ignited the gasoline, causing a tremendous explosion that sent both Transformers flying.
In the aftermath, Bumblebee told Sam he had a feeling they hadn't seen the last of Barricade. Tales of the Fallen 1. In the wake of the Autobots' battle with The Fallen, Revenge of the Fallen movie adaptation with more new Autobots arriving on Earth regularly, Bumblebee was brought back onto active duty and placed in charge of a team made up of rookies Jolt , Knock Out , Dune Runner and Breakaway.
Bumblebee's team responded to Decepticon activity at Kingdom Petrochemicals in Florida , but 'Bee and the other ground-based team-members arrived too late to save Breakaway from dying at Soundwave's hands.
The Decepticons soon fled, as did a mysterious group of humans also active at the sight, leaving Bumblebee mystified as to what was going on. Nefarious 1 He and his team returned to Edwards Air Force Base , where Galloway was annoyed that he hadn't been notified about the arrival on Earth of some of the members of Bumblebee's team.
Nefarious 2. En route, their transport plane was shot down by Buzzsaw , and when they attempt to continue the mission on the ground, they were soon obstructed by Soundwave's "mini-militia".
Bumblebee tussled with Rumble , but quickly realized that his team was outmatched. Rather than a repeat of the loss of Breakaway, Bumblebee opted to release Soundwave.
Nefarious 3 Subsequently, Soundwave chose to ally himself with the Autobots to bring down the Initiative , the human organization who had also been at Kingdom Petrochemicals, who were conspiring against the Transformers.
Bumblebee's team were part of the NEST unit that follow Soundwave to the supposed location of the Initiative's base in Inyokern , but the mobile facility had already relocated to Crater Lake , Oregon , by the time they got there.
Pursuing it, 'Bee's team was sent to assault the base from the north, but when Bumblebee broke through the base wall, he was confronted by a most unexpected set of opponents: Initiative-controlled Transformers!
Nefarious 5 The damage he took from the initial blast knocked him out of the fight, but he had recovered in time to help during the clean-up. Nefarious 6.
While Bumblebee was picnicking with Sam and Arcee, a small earthquake, followed by the emergence of a Transformer energy signature, prompted the trio to investigate.
Tracing the signal to a nearby cave, they were attacked by Space Case , who had been freed from his subterranean prison by the 'quake, and who promptly brought the cave down on top of the threesome.
Transformers: Space Case Separated from Arcee in the cave-in, Bumblebee managed to hold up the collapsed ceiling, but could not get any transmissions out through the rocks, and found his strength slowly ebbing as the weight pressed down.
Reminded that friendship meant trying your hardest and not letting your friends down, Bumblebee dug deep, and when a crack of light appeared overhead, managed to wrench the rocks clear.
The pair were lifted to safety by Ratchet, who had been digging for them, and who was amazed that Bumblebee had had the strength to carry the weight for as long as he had.
Transformers: Bumblebee. While visiting Sam at college in Philadelphia , Bumblebee was parked at the roadside waiting for him while he grabbed lunch when he was approached by " Brains ", a Decepticon brain unit who had just recently come online and escaped from Shockwave and Astrotrain.
Believing him to be an ordinary Earth vehicle, but not understanding that said vehicles were not alive, Brains tried asking Bumblebee for help; naturally, Bee did not break cover by replying, but when an angry Brains then kicked him, 'Bee's temper got the better of him and he transformed.
Rising Storm 1 Sam and Bumblebee brought Brains back to his college, but this only made them targets for a force of Decepticons heralded by 'Bee's recurring opponent, Barricade.
Vastly outnumbered, Bumblebee nearly met his maker at the end of Sonar 's blaster, but was saved when NEST reinforcements Mirage and Wheeljack arrived.
Rising Storm 2 As the battle intensified, Bumblebee and Barricade squared off once more, Rising Storm 3 but as more Autobot backup came to join the fight, Bumblebee got the better of his old enemy and defeated him yet again.
Rising Storm 4. Concurrently with the battle in Philadelphia, Shockwave had staged a devastating attack on NEST's Diego Garcia base, necessitating a restructuring of the organization.
Rising Storm 4 Some time later, the Autobots faced the return of Sentinel Prime and Bumblebee and Sam were reunited to thwart his space bridge plot.
Dark of the Moon movie adaptation. Optimus Prime entrusted Bumblebee with the secret that the AllSpark would be sent into deep space to prevent Lord Megatron from possessing and corrupting it.
Just after the launch, Megatron attacked Bumblebee in rage at losing the AllSpark and shattered the Autobot's voice capacitor beyond repair.
Bumblebee arrived on Earth and, sensing the AllSpark was near, took on local camouflage to search for the artifact. He immediately attracted the attention of Sector Seven agents and the Decepticons.
Transformers: Beginnings. Before they could catch him, Hydrobot escaped from the Autobots' clutches. The trio started to realize that they might have judged the small 'bot wrongly when Hound found out that the substance Hydrobot left behind was nothing like something a Decepticon would use.
Hiroshi Benson himself. Upon gaining access to the laboratory, they confronted Hiroshi in robot mode, which left the human scientist baffled.
Shortly after the scientist finished explaining the origin of the substance and Hydrobot, a squadron of Decepticons led by Megatron suddenly bursted through the wall, explaining their intent to use the devices inside Hiroshi's laboratory to build the Energon converter.
Luckily, Hydrobot arrived at the scene to help the Autobots by knocking over Onslaught. With help from Hiroshi's control set , Bumblebee released a shock burst towards the Decepticons, prompting them to retreat.
After all was said and done, the Autobots gave Hydrobot a lift and bid their farewells, but Bumblebee knew that he would return one day.
A New Friend. During the war for Cybertron, Bumblebee was friends with the Autobot Diabla , at one point battling alongside her in the smelting pools of Polyhex.
From Cybertron with Love Unbeknownst to Bumblebee, Diabla was a Decepticon mole who had infiltrated the Autobots to destabilize them from within; when Diabla's treachery was revealed, Bumblebee maintained that Diabla had always been an Autobot, albeit one who had gone bad and joined the Decepticons.
After arriving on Earth and serving in World War II, Bumblebee — prior to the loss of his voicebox — fell in with Sector Seven at some point after the end of the war.
At some point during the early s the organization traded him to MI6 , Bumblebee joining the ranks of Britain's elite counterintelligence agency P.
Partnered with the not-so-suave superspy David Reeve , The Man with the Golden Car and taking pointers from intelligence specialist Diana Lux , The Living Headlights Bumblebee and Reeve embarked on a series of globetrotting adventures, battling against the forces of Konrad Gotell 's E.
In , the duo tracked Gottell to East Berlin. Though Reeve discovered that Gotell had already been killed, and his office booby-trapped rigged to blow, Bumblebee was forced to evade the German police before he could rescue his partner from Wildrider , killing him by throwing him into the Berlin Wall and crushing him with a chunk of rubble.
Some time later, the duo returned to the United Kingdom to rendezvous with their handlers at Maundy Gregory Studio ; though initially put out about being left in the rain, his position allowed him to realize that the agency's director had been killed, his car coopted as a disguise for the Decepticon Runabout.
Bee was barely able to warn Reeve and Lux before the blast from Pelham's explosive-rigged body took out the studio, shielding his human friends from Runabout and Diabla's attacks.
At Reeve's suggestion, Bumblebee fell back, deploying an oil slick to trip up the Decepticons while he made his escape.
Regrouping on Victoria Embankment , Reeve was barely able to recontact B. The Man with the Golden Car Reeve was unaware that Bee and Lux had tapped the call, and though Lux briefly wondered if Reeve would kill them based on that suspicions, the sight of his partner raising his gun caused the Autobot to flee When it became clear that Diabla wouldn't listen to her old comrade, and that the Decepticon had him phsycially outmatched, Bumblebee escaped death by diving into the Thames so that he could meet up with his human contacts at a secret P.
To meet with Gottell's old contact Vladimir Vladek , the two humans disguised themselves as a photographer and a model, staking out Carnaby Street in the process and using Bumblebee's vehicle mode to block the road from Diabla so that the two humans could break into Vladek's headquarters.
In the ensuing battle, Bumblebee attempted to talk down his old friend; this time, the Decepticon agreed, and the pair retreated to the roof to converse.
Despite his best efforts, Bumblebee was unable to convince Diabla to reveal any information about her human connections, and the entire conversation was quickly revealed to be a distraction, so that Dead End could tie up another loose end by killing Vladek while Blitzwing eliminated the Autobot.
The Living Headlights. Left to the mercy of Diabla and Blitzwing, Diabla's brief moment of mercy — when she briefly considered giving Bumblebee a quick and painless death — allowed Bumblebee to take on Blitzwing, though it quickly became clear that the Autobot was outmatched.
Instead, Bee fired at a nearby gas main, using the explosion as cover to scoop up his human allies before transforming and fleeing into the London Underground.
Pursued by Diabla, Bumblebee was able to outmaneuver his Decepticon foe by deploying his meager rear-mounted weaponry, baiting her into getting hit by an oncoming train while he re-emerged in south London.
Having eluded their pursuers, Reeve made contact with an "old friend" who promised more news regarding the activities of their foes.
That evening, the group headed to Hyde Park to meet up with Reeve's ally; though momentarily surprised by a Decepticon ambush, their opponents were taken offline by Heath Donovan , a Sector Seven agent in charge of keeping tabs on Bumblebee.
New information revealed the full extent of the Decepticon's plans, including the extinction of humanity by turning the Cold War hot, but thanks to the homing device he'd tagged Diabla with in the Underground Bumblebee revealed that he was able to take them to their base of operations.
Hitching a ride aboard a stealth jet , the trio parachuted into an abandoned castle, with Bumblebee dropping a guard before fighting their way into the complex Energon Is Forever.
Having revealed his role in recent events, gloating about his plans to push the nations of Earth into a nuclear war, Bumblebee begged Diabla for help one last time — only for Lux to reveal that she had previously turned Bumblebee's homing rounds into explosive devices, and detonated Diabla's, causing a momentary distraction that allowed the three heroes to slip their bonds.
Deploying an underwater mode, Bumblebee was able to dive into the castle waterways, using his oil slick to blind the Sharkticons that pursued him.
When it seemed like his luck had run out, however, he was unexpectedly rescued Though Reeve was able to kill Malignus, his missile had already launched, and the three spies were unable to do anything about it — only becoming aware that the conflicted Diabla had already climbed aboard to defuse it too late to stop her.
Momentarily throwing Dead End off balance by using a falling Sharkticon to crush the red Decepticon, Bumblebee was too focused on preventing Diabla from killing herself to notice the arrival of Blitzwing and Dead End, but a shout from Reeve caused Bee to duck, and Blitzwing's shot to blow Dead End apart.
Grabbing his two human allies, Bumblebee leapt into the ocean as the disabled missile plummeted back into the castle, destroying it and all of its occupants.
In the aftermath, Bumblebee and his two human allies survived, but were unable to determine if Diabla had done the same.
Bumblebee spied one of her tires, which led her to believe that his old friend had survived the battle. Ferrying his partners back to shore, the Autobot vowed to find her Over the next twenty years, Bumblebee left his human friends behind to pursue his new mission, travelling across the globe and eventually dedicating himself to eliminating Blitzwing instead.
Eventually, Bumblebee tracked Blitzwing down, and the pair prepared to do battle once more From Cybertron with Love.
Bumblebee was part of a mission to trick Megatron into looking in the wrong place for the AllSpark Reprint of Prequel 1 , in which he was the only one who knew the truth not even team leader Arcee knew!
Recap in 2 He lost his voice when Megatron crushed his vocal processor upon witnessing the launch of the AllSpark.
The Decepticon leader immediately discarded his body and took off after the cube Prelude: Megatron and it was a long while before he was recovered.
Prelude: Ratchet. Rendered voiceless, he continued to fight on Cybertron and would encounter Skids and Mudflap when the two were about to be thrown into a Decepticon smelting pool.
In , he travelled to Earth while tracing the AllSpark and would spend years evading Decepticons and Sector 7 alike.
Reprint of Prequel 3 Reprint of Prequel 4. Bumblebee and his fellow Autobots would ultimately follow the AllSpark to the planet Earth, where Bumblebee befriended the human Sam Witwicky.
Some time after the battle of Mission City, Bumblebee was driven by the Witwickys to Sam's college , where he quietly endured their bickering while scanning everything around him for potential threats.
When he picked up radio transmissions from two new Autobots, he drove off into battle, and saved Skids and Mudflap from being slaughtered by the Decepticon Ransack.
But with the villain threatening a long game, Bumblebee knew that trouble was on the horizon. Learning Curve.
Some time later, Bumblebee was hanging out in Sam's garage when he received an emergency call from NEST: the twins, having apparently fallen in with the Decepticons, had abducted Sam!
When they didn't, he launched suppressive fire and began ramming Skids, which soon convinced them to release Sam. As Bumblebee held the twins at gunpoint, ready to eliminate if necessary, Mudflap's tried to explain that they hadd been framed and there was a bigger threat coming Outlaw Blues The "bigger threat" the twins had warned of soon arrived, in the form of The Fallen, but the Autobots were able to defeat the ancient Decepticon.
Afterwards, back in the field in Beverly Hills , Bumblebee was part of a unit assigned to captured Reverb ; Jolt messed the mission up, but Bumblebee saved the day by ramming the bike head-on.
Culture Shock. Epps worked out that Optimus had been victim of an electromagnetic bomb, and Bumblebee tracked his leader to where he was being held Poor Epps had to ride in Bumblebee jumping a ravine, and almost spewed up his breakfast.
After locating Prime, they found he was a captive of the Free Men militia. At Epps command, Bumblebee hit the Free Men compound with his full firepower, swiftly defeating the militia.
Bring Me the Head of Optimus Prime. Spare Parts! Inside Out! Ultimately, this failure left the Autobots' reputations in the toilet, and with concerns that public fights risked alienating humans, Bumblebee was tasked to head a covert unit with Slap Dash and Hubcap.
They were charged with operating under NEST's radar, monitoring Decepticons and waiting for windows of opportunity out of the public eye, before hitting hard and fast.
In practice, this meant allowing Decepticons like Crankstart , Brimstone , and Trenchmouth to run amok in cities, with Bumblebee restraining his desire to stop them and keeping his men from taking action.
After an uncomfortable period of hoping nobody would be killed, the Decepticons went to an isolated stretch of road: now free to act, Bumblebee led his men in a vicious ambush and personally drove through Crankshaft.
Shadow War. Information obtained from the Decepticon unit Bumblebee's covert squad had brought in allowed the Autobots to trace the location of Bludgeon's Decepticons' base to Arkhangelskaya Oblast in Russia.
Divided Loyalties Fortunately for the Autobots, Megatron himself soon arrived and slew Bludgeon for his transgressions, meaning Bumblebee and the others did not have to battle the rogue Decepticon at all.
In the wake of the two Decepticons' brawl, Bumblebee discovered the shattered remains of Wheelie, who had been torn to bits. Unaware of his treachery, 'Bee gathered up his parts to take back to Ratchet for repair A Short, Sharp Lesson!
Intrigued by the human ritual of " Christmas ", Bumblebee convinced Sam to let him secretly observe the Witwicky family during the festive proceedings.
Unfortunately, Dead End tracked the Autobot to the Witwickys' house and attacked on Christmas Eve, tearing bits of Bumblebee's mechanisms out to integrate into his own body.
Luckily, 'Bee managed to shock the zombie-con into submission before their fight awoke Sam's parents, and he was even able to get into the gift-giving on Christmas morning, buying Judy Witwicky car wax.
Sam's present was particularly timely: a new traction bearing to replace the one Dead End had torn out! The Nightmare Bee-4 Christmas.
When the Autobots were summoned to Fiesole Cathedral in Fiesole , Italy to examine a mysterious object discovered there by an archaeology professor, Bumblebee accidentally smashed the cathedrals shrine to Saint Donatus.
Determined to prevent the Autobots from getting ahold of the object—actually a piece of Sentinel Prime's Ark —Starscream attacked the cathedral, blasting Bumblebee through a wall with a volley of missiles.
Recovering, 'Bee joined Optimus Prime in pursuing Starscream to the cathedral's belltower, but the Decepticon then brought the tower down on top of them and escaped with the Ark component.
Fight for Fiesole. At some point, Bumblebee uncovered some intel, pointing towards Soundwave working in conjunction with the Tanto Gang , and passed on the information to Lennox.
Gold And Blood. Bumblebee was later teamed with Robert Epps to hunt down Soundwave in the Spanish Sierra Nevada mountain range, but NEST's intelligence regarding the Decepticons' operational status was flawed: Soundwave's weapons systems were in perfect working order, and Bumblebee was badly damaged by his attacks.
Luckily, Optimus Prime arrived to save them. Dealing with the Devil. When the Decepticons retreated and Crosshairs tracked them to Pulau Bidadari , Bumblebee monitored the ranger and relayed the events to Optimus.
Thousand Island Fight. Not long after, Bumblebee was shocked to see a news report claiming that he had attacked a human power plant.
Though 'Bee was eager to hunt down his mysterious doppelgänger, Optimus Prime encouraged him to wait until he had the Autobot leader to back him up.
The choice was soon taken out of Bumblebee's hands, however: responding to a fire at a remote human homestead, he was attacked by his mysterious duplicate, who introduced himself as " Stinger ", and promptly welded 'Bee's battle mask shut so they would be totally indistinguishable from one another.
Optimus Prime soon arrived and had to train his guns on the two identical Bumblebees Prime quickly sent Stinger packing, and he and Bumblebee rolled out together, wondering where Stinger had come from Accept No Substitutes!
In an alternate timeline , the battle of Mission City turned out very differently—Megatron killed Sam, captured Optimus, and obtained the AllSpark.
The Decepticons proceeded to conquer North America, and by the start of , had begun a plan to cyberform the Earth using the AllSpark's energies.
Bumblebee—his voice still functional—and Mikaela Banes went underground, working with Tom Banachek to fight a guerilla war against the Decepticons.
Considering Optimus their last, best hope for victory, Bumblebee and Mikaela went on a mission to rescue him from the old Sector Seven base in Hoover Dam, which the Decepticons were now using as their headquarters.
Mikaela quickly shot down Bumblebee's concerns about her safety, though she did almost get squished when 'Bee took out the bunker guard Swindle.
Entering, the pair quickly located Optimus, but in a most unexpected condition: frozen solid in the old cryo-system previously used to contain Megatron.
Twilight's Last Gleaming, Part: 1 Stalked by Megatron, Bumblebee kept the Decepticon leader busy while Mikaela attempt to deactivate the freezing system, Twilight's Last Gleaming, Part: 2 but was baited into revealing himself when the tyrant threatened to kill Mikaela.
Bumblebee made a desperate attack, only to be beaten aside with ease, Twilight's Last Gleaming, Part: 3 but he remained defiant to the end and refused to beg for mercy.
Luckily, Autobot reinforcements arrived; although even they were no match for Megatron, their added distraction provided Mikaela time to thaw out Optimus Prime.
Loading the virus into himself, Bumblebee charged Megatron, forcibly transmitting the nano-virus into him via a light-beam from his headlights.
In another possible scenario, where Optimus followed a plan courtesy of Prowl, the Autobot leader instructed his troops to transform into vehicle mode and play dead.
In another possible turn of events, Perceptor gave out too much of his antidote to cure each poisoned Autobot. The Autobots who received the antidote soon found themselves falling apart, leaving Bumblebee and the rest outmatched against the greater number of Decepticons.
In yet another possible scenario, Optimus opted to use the tainted fuel as a weapon against an encroaching Decepticon squadron.
Bumblebee was impressed by Grapple powerful crane, as the later lifted the vat of liquid and carried it outside Autobot headquarters.
The plan was carried out successfully, and the Autobots celebrated another victory over the Decepticons. Optimus nominated Prowl, Bumblebee and Mirage to go along with him on the mission.
Venturing further into the lab, the group soon spotted the antidote they were after, and sent Mirage to fetch it.
Mirage returned with the beaker and news; he had heard Ramjet and Starscream talking about using a new poison to turn humans into mindless slaves. If Optimus ordered his squad to instead return to Autobot headquarters immediately, his squad returned to find their comrades nearly dead from the poison.
But with Ratchet's help, the antidote was quickly distributed, and the Autobots sprung back to life.
Happening upon the Decepticons hauling barrels of poison out of their base, the Autobots devised a couple of possible plans to take them out.
One such plan had Windcharger, Prowl, Jazz and Warpath work together to ignite the poison over the Decepticons, forcing them to retreat back within their base before destroying the lab.
Bumblebee was giddy watching his fellow Autobots perform their tasks. The Autobots then drove back to base victoriously. If however Optimus ordered his troops to deal with the Decepticons before returning to base with the antidote, the Autobots were faced with another decision; deal with Starscream and Ramjet first, or to attempt to destroy the containers of poison first, as per Prowl's suggestion.
Upon reawakening, the Autobots found themselves captives of Megatron, who informed them that their fellow Autobots would soon perish, and that the humans would be conquered by the Decepticons shortly after.
If Optimus instead decided to deal with Ramjet and Starscream first, his troop easily overpowered the pair, Bumblebee stuffing a rock in Starscream's mouth in order to keep him quiet.
After having destroyed the lab, the Autobots returned to their headquarters with the antidote. Though he attempted to escape the laboratory without incident, Laserbeak awoke before he could leave, and the cruel Decepticon ordered Bumblebee to surrender.
Together, the Autobots escaped from the Valley of Poison and returned to Autobot headquarters. Once the other Autobots were cured, they all drank a toast to Bumblebee, to celebrate his part in the mission.
If Bumblebee heeded Laserbeak's commands, the cruel Decepticon retrieved the antidote before beginning his torture of the little Autobot, in order to make him talk.
Bumblebee refused to break, thinking only of his hero, Optimus Prime, as Laserbeak presumably did unspeakable things to the little Autobot.
Decepticon Poison. While out on patrol, Bumblebee spotted Astrotrain hovering about in a valley near Autobot headquarters.
Assuming it was nothing more than Astrotrain acting as a transport for his fellow Decepticons, he paid the sighting no heed.
The next day, Bumblebee was watching a game of baseball on television when the broadcast was highjacked by the Decepticons.
Though the Autobots learned that in addition to the crisis in Earth orbit, the Decepticons had also attacked a nearby research base, Bumblebee still considered the attack on Earth's satellites to be a more urgent matter.
If Ultra Magnus decided to prioritize the Decepticons satellite hijacking plot, Bumblebee caught sight of Hot Rod in a nearby corner, sulking over not being picked for the mission.
As Bumblebee had not been picked for the mission either, he informed Hot Rod on what he had seen the previous night, and suggested the two of them go on their own clandestine mission to investigate Astrotrain's activities.
Hot Rod gladly obliged. They brought along a supply of "laser-ignited explosives" and went on their way. If Hot Rod convinced Bumblebee to go along with his plan, the pair snuck aboard Astrotrain by concealing themselves within a trailer filled with bombs.
As Astrotrain launched, Hot Rod drew Bumblebee's attention to a room filled with Decepticon space gear. The two Autobots donned the suits in order to disguise themselves.
The disguises proved effective as Thrust and Starscream walked past the pair, none the wiser. Bumblebee was nonetheless unwilling to push their luck too much, and suggested that they find a hiding spot and use the weapons they brought along as soon as possible.
If Hot Rod decided to try and commandeer Astrotrain's military control station, Bumblebee nervously followed him, advising the young Autobot to act like he knows what he's doing in order to fool the guards.
The pair bypassed the guards easily, but were not able to fool Scourge, who happened upon them soon after. Bumblebee alerted Hot Rod of Scourge's approach, and urged him to fire Astrotrain's weapons as soon as possible.
Hot Rod succeeded in firing Astrotrain's weapons at Cyclonus, warning the Autobot shuttle of the Decepticons, but both he and Bumblebee were quickly overpowered by Scourge.
They were then flung out into the blackness of space by Scourge, stranded in zero-gravity, waiting for a rescue that might never come.
If instead Hot Rod and Bumblebee decided to find themselves a hiding spot, the pair snuck into a room labelled "Dirty Tricks Department" in order to dodge the incoming Laserbeak.
After Hot Rod successfully shot down Cyclonus from their hiding spot, Hot Rod and Bumblebee hid out for the rest of the mission inside the Dirty Tricks department room, finding a way to escape later when it docked.
The pair soon found themselves overhearing Galvatron's latest pirate broadcast. If Hot Rod went ahead and pressed the button, he and Bumblebee soon discovered that it was a Decepticon trap, as sirens began blaring across the Decepticon base and iron bars prevented them from escaping.
Galvatron's image appeared on a nearby monitor, explaining that both Hot Rod and Bumblebee would be used as hostages in order to secure a Decepticon victory.
In a completely different possible sequence of events, wherein Ultra Magnus decided to prioritize the theft of the coded message, Bumblebee was part of the captive audience that listened to Kup divulge information about an ancient Autobot formula.
Once there, they learned from Springer that the Cybertite sphere containing the formula was discovered by humans during the 16th century.
If the Decepticons had decoded Springer's message, they would be searching off the coast of California , where the ship containing the sphere had sunk.
If they hadn't decoded the message, the Decepticons would still be digging in the nearby crater. If Ultra Magnus decided to assume that the Decepticons had already decrypted the message, he ordered his forces to split up to more efficiently address the situation.
Bumblebee was part of the main group of Autobots led to the coast by Ultra Magnus. Ultra Magnus's troops were informed by Powerglide who had flown ahead of the land-bound group that he had discovered the location of the sunken ship containing the cybertite sphere.
Simultaneously, Blurr caught up with the group to inform them that the Decepticons were quickly approaching. The Autobots then needed to decide whether they would raise the ship themselves, or try and ambush the Decepticons after they had done so.
In one of the possible plans concocted by Ultra Magnus, Bumblebee was to work with Grapple and Hot Rod to retrieve the sphere.
Bumblebee rode down the boom at the end of Grapple's crane, and fastened it to the sunken ship.
He then signalled Grapple to un-submerge the ship, only to find himself and the ship remain immobile. Grapple's crane had suffered a mechanical breakdown, and though the Autobots managed to fix it, valuable time was lost.
The Autobots were unable to retrieve the sphere before the Decepticons arrived, and Bumblebee and his friends found themselves being pummelled by superior Decepticon fire raining down upon them.
Autobot Alert! In one possible scenario, Bumblebee ran into Sparkplug on the way to Metroplex city.
Sparkplug informed Bumblebee that he had learned of a Decepticon plot to use a Brain Drain device to rob a crowd of concertgoers of their intelligence, and the two of them rushed to inform Ultra Magnus of this development.
If Ultra Magnus decided to head for the rock concert and deal with the Decepticons there, Bumblebee brought Sparkplug along to the concert location.
Once there, he was ordered to blend in with the various cars parked around the concert, and lie in wait for the Decepticons to show themselves.
Once the Decepticons appeared, Ultra Magnus ordered his troops to transform in unison and open fire on their enemies.
But Galvatron had planned to light afire the parking lot in which the Autobots were standing in order to trap the humans.
Being drenched from above by Decepticon jets dumping gasoline upon them, Ultra Magnus needed to decide whether the Autobots needed to retreat, or to keep on fighting and hope that they could defeat the Decepticons before the fire consumed them.
If Ultra Magnus decided on a retreat, Bumblebee rushed out of the blazing inferno and moved in closer to the humans in order to protect them.
As the other Autobots battled the Decepticon jets swooping down towards them, Bumblebee noticed Galvatron beyond the wall of flame preparing to activate the Brain Drain device.
Despite the fire between them, Bumblebee transformed into vehicle mode and darted towards Galvatron in order to stop him. Knowing that none of the weapons on him would harm Galvatron, Bumblebee devised two possible plans of attack, even as the fire around him began to break him down.
He could either ram into Galvatron, hoping to make him drop the Brain Drain device, shattering the delicate instrument, or he could transform at the last moment and throw a flaming car towards the device to destroy it while in Galvatron's grasp.
If Bumblebee decided to crash directly into Galvatron, his initial assault fails, with Galvatron managing to regain his balance before he drops the device.
However, having been reduced to a burning heap by the inferno, Bumblebee exploded after his gas tank catches fire, destroying the device in the process.
If Bumblebee decided to launch a truck at Galvatron instead, the oil tanker he grabbed hold of exploded before Bumblebee had a chance to launch it, reducing the little Autobot to nothing more than a smouldering windshield whipper.
In another possible scenario wherein the Autobots remained in the parking lot to battle the Decepticons at close-quarters, both Bumblebee and Hot Rod saw Soundwave pass the Brain Drain device to Galvatron after the latter had flung Ultra Magnus away.
If Bumblebee attempted to stop Galvatron, the Decepticon leader laughed at Bumblebee's efforts, and effortlessly crushed him underfoot before he had a chance to stop them.
If Hot Rod attempted to stop Galvatron, the Autobots were eventually successfully in destroying the device, and Bumblebee and the other Autobots received a standing ovation as the Decepticons retreated.
Project Brain Drain. At the death of Sentinel Prime , Bumblebee was part of an Autobot unit defending Altihex from the Decepticons, but it was ultimately declared a lost cause.
Trailbreaker had to pull him aboard the shuttle once they realized there was nothing left to do. Grimlock ordered him, Jazz , Prowl , and others to the ruins of Praxus , where Grimlock declared that if the new Prime was unable to lead successfully, they would take control of the war's leadership Bumblebee was among the group that was present for the Matrix transfer ceremony, where Optronix became Optimus Prime.
When a Decepticon assassination squad arrived and Optimus kicked some exhaust port, Bumblebee declared that he was "awesome".
However, Prime then ordered the Autobots to prepare an evacuation of Cybertron. The War Within 1 When Prime went underground looking for Megatron, Bumblebee was surprised he'd gone alone, but the Autobots suddenly had bigger problems, as Shockwave attacked Iacon with a host of Decepticons.
The War Within 3 Eventually, Prowl ordered the Autobots to take them on individually, and Bumblebee went out carrying a cannon that was as big as him.
At this time, Optimus also beheld a vision of a possible future, in which Bumblebee helped defend a hydro-electric dam on Earth against the forces of the Decepticons.
The War Within 5 Back in reality, Bumblebee survived the destruction of Iacon, and escaped to its outskirts. Prime then met with his troops, and reversed his order of evacuation.
He was present in the Autobase when The Fallen broke in to abduct Blitzwing , then being held within one of the Autobots' cells. Though Bumblebee attempted to contain the villain with a forcefield, The Fallen proved to be more than the base's systems could handle.
Feedback shot back through its computers struck Bumblebee as The Fallen made his escape with his prize in-hand. Confrontation Though left relatively unharmed, Bumblebee did not head back into the field afterwards, when The Fallen's base of operations was uncovered and a cross-faction army rushed it.
Instead, he stayed behind at the Autobase to coordinate the troops. At Jetfire's prompting, Bumblebee erected a forcefield around The Fallen once more, this time trapping him atop of the Seal of Primus.
Primus's essence was then able to reach out and smite The Fallen, putting an end to his scheme. Bumblebee would later aid Ultra Magnus in his struggle to re-unite Cybertron under the Autobot banner.
The unification of their race nearly succeeded The Age of Wrath. Bumblebee was one of the Ark crew that crashed on Earth and awoke in During that time, he met Spike Witwicky, becoming close friends with the human.
In , the Autobots and humans allied and managed to capture the Decepticons, taking them in the Ark II back to Cybertron, along with seven humans , including Sparkplug Witwicky , Spike's father.
However, the Ark II was sabotaged by rogue elements of the United States military apparently as part of a plan by Shockwave.
Prime Directive 1 The humans were all killed, but a number of Transformers, including Bumblebee, survived, but in stasis lock. Bumblebee's body was recovered by General Hallo and Adam Rook , but Rook stole Bumblebee and a number of other Transformers, intent on selling them to various terrorists to feed his greed.
As part of a demonstration to prospective buyers, Rook had Bumblebee join an assault against the Smitco Oil Refinery alongside half a dozen Transformers.
Soon after this exercise in carnage, Megatron wrestled his mind free from Lazarus's control, and brought ruin onto the human's organization.
Prime Directive 2 Once they had been freed from Lazarus's control as well, the Seekers , to satisfy their sadism, disassembled and played with Bumblebee's various components.
Prime Directive 3. Optimus Prime's team later rescued Bumblebee and the remaining Autobots. Bumblebee was reassembled while the bulk of the Autobot forces travelled to San Francisco to stop a large-scale Decepticon assault on the city.
Prime Directive 4 All Autobots left behind at Lazarus's base were put to work in combating Megatron's latest doomsday weapon, a techno-virus rapidly enveloping the globe.
Using devices designed by Wheeljack, Bumblebee and the others began pushing back the virus, at the expense of their own energy supplies. Unfortunately, the Canadian military, skittish over the recent Transformer violence, attacked the Autobots as they worked.
Prime Directive 5 Despite this, Bumblebee tried to save as many of the soldiers as he could before the virus could kill them.
The virus was ultimately neutralized, though Wheeljack had to put himself in a deep state of stasis lock to accomplish the task. Prime Directive 6.
In the following weeks, the Autobots tried their best to re-establish good relations with the people of Earth, but had little luck.
After Optimus Prime, Megatron, Jazz and Bluestreak vanished from the streets of Tokyo with roughly human civilians, the public was understandably critical of the Transformers and their war.
Bumblebee didn't help any when Chris Killah , a reporter for MNT, interviewed him on the scene while he and Prowl were looking for clues to the disappearance.
Bumblebee's knowledge of Earth idioms and slang normally worked to the Autobots' benefit, but he got "stage fright" in front of the TV cameras and referred to the massive property damage and loss of human life as a "bummer".
With both sides effectively leaderless at first, Bumblebee and Prowl did their best to contain the fallout of Megatron and Prime's disappearance.
Acting on a tip, they tracked Thundercracker to an airport in Mesa Verde , Mexico , where he was running guns with some human terrorists.
The battle was memorable, but brief, thanks largely to the arrival of the renegade Autobot known as Grimlock. Having heard the Starscream had taken over the human city of Las Vegas , Grimlock had commissioned a human black ops army and invited Bumblebee and Prowl to join him in assaulting the Decepticon position.
Already frustrated at the United Nations ' orders to stay out of Vegas, for fear of civilian casualties, Bumblebee and Prowl accepted the offer.
After fighting their way through Bonecrusher and the other Constructicons on the outskirts of town, the Autobots managed to make it to the center of the Strip to confront Soundwave.
Fortunately, the Autobots had long since developed internal jammers to prevent Soundwave from reading their thoughts during a battle, but that didn't make things easy.
Fighting their way around the casinos, Bumblebee finally collapsed a massive neon sign on top of Soundwave, temporarily ending the fight.
Bumblebee and Prowl's luck turned sour, though, with the arrival of Starscream and the mighty Devastator. The sudden appearance of a spatial gateway depositing Optimus and the other lost Transformers, along with their captors the Keepers , was just one set of complications on top of another.
Sometime later, as they were entrenched against the Decepticons on the Alsakan shore, the Autobots received visitors from Cybertron. Representing a united Cybertronian government of both Autobots and Decepticons, they claimed the Transformers on Earth were a throwback to darker days, and wanted to take them into custody to prevent their "anachronistic" feud from upsetting Cybertron's populace.
Shockwave , leader of the united Cybertronians, unleashed his triple-changing troops to take in both Optimus and Megatron's followers by force, and though the Decepticons were taken in, the Autobots escaped.
New World Order The Autobots under Optimus Prime split into two groups, with Bumblebee and several others joining their leader in surrendering to Ultra Magnus another member of the United Cybertron force , while Jazz led a small group away from the Ark to continue monitoring activities on Earth.
Brothers' Burden Once they arrived on Cybertron, it became clear that there was a rotten core to the new government, namely Shockwave. Thankfully, there were dissidents in Shockwave's government, and Bumblebee, Optimus, Prowl, and Gears were freed from their holding cell by Sandstorm and Broadside.
Cold War The liberated Autobots were then ferried away to meet with the leaders of Cybertron's underground resistance.
Passive Aggression They then helped overthrow Shockwave's reign, reinstating Autobot rule over Cybertron. War and Peace. After Cybertron settled down, Bumblebee commanded the Autobot Shuttle Orion and a small crew, traveling back to Earth with supplies for Jazz's team at the Ark.
Starscream and the Combaticons were in the midst of an attack on the Ark when the Orion arrived.
Night of the Combaticons The little ship managed to damage Bruticus significantly before the super-powerful zealot Sunstorm shorted out its engines and it crashed.
Bumblebee and his crew walked away from their rough landing unharmed however, and Sunstorm flew off in pursuit of Starscream. Bumblebee set about returning his ship to operational status, and a few hours later, the Orion was once more in working order.
Bumblebee was ready to lie back and recharge Black Sunshine The Autobots were forced into an uneasy alliance with Starscream to combat Sunstorm's greater threat.
Pooling their knowledge with Jetfire's, the Autobots were able to concoct a plan that had a chance of disabling their powerful foe.
But all throughout their preparations, Bumblebee had to put up with his crew's doubts towards his capabilities. Bumblebee retorted that though he was "no Prime," none of them were, and that they'd have to pull through nonetheless.
Deciding that he would once and for all prove to the others that he "had what it took," Bumblebee led the assault against Sunstorm when he inevitably returned.
His shuttle was downed again by Sunstorm's radiation, but thanks to Jetfire distracting the clone at a pivotal moment, Bumblebee was able to attach an energy-siphon onto the super-clone, forcing him to flee as his power began to drain.
But Jetfire warned Bumblebee that so long as Sunstorm was on the loose, he was a potential source of trouble. Skyfire Bumblebee and the others returned to the Orion , finding all of its remaining crew disabled by Starscream, who had himself fled.
While the Autobots were tending to the injured, they heard a distant explosion, signifying that their last ace-in-the-hole, Omega Supreme , had tracked down and engaged Sunstorm.
The Omega Effect. Unfortunately, Omega Supreme did not emerge victorious from this confrontation. Bumblebee and the others found him unconscious, with the energy-siphon they had attached to Sunstorm nearby, broken and disabled.
Omega Supreme rebooted, and began recovering, but Bumblebee still felt guilty about not leading the Autobots towards more favorable results.
He accompanied Jetfire in tracking down Sunstorm, and Bumblebee admitted he had begun to feel disillusioned in his role as the two flew off.
They then came upon Starscream opening an ancient Cybertronian bunker, and swooped down to stop whatever machinations he was partaking in.
Despite Sunstorm's interference, the two Autobots managed to follow Starscream underground. Jetfire managed to subdue Starscream once more, but Bumblebee received a disabling dose of radiation from Sunstorm.
Before he briefly slipped into unconsciousness, Bumblebee witnessed Starscream defeat both his clone and Jetfire. Original Sin.
Opening his optics, Bumblebee found himself staring down Starscream's gun-barrel. Starscream mocked the young Autobot, telling him how utterly clueless he was about the events unfolding around him.
In the midst of his rant, Sunstorm re-emerged, the energies within him now erupting more violently than ever. Tired of his "brother's" constant betrayals, Sunstorm denounced Starscream, and instead claimed that Bumblebee had divine purpose to him.
As Sunstorm readied to strike Bumblebee for apparently having usurped his divine mission, an explosion tore through the clone's arm..
Jetfire recovered, and both he and Bumblebee tried to pin down Sunstorm to no avail. Jetfire was forced to grab Sunstorm and push him up into orbit to prevent his inevitable melt-down from causing further harm to the Earth.
Starscream, out of begrudging gratitude towards his former friend, returned Bumblebee to the surface. Bumblebee then begged Starscream to take him up so they could both help Jetfire escape as Sunstorm went critical.
But Starscream refused, stating that he wasn't looking to help anyone beyond himself. Bumblebee was forced to watch helplessly as Jetfire was blown to oblivion.
Thoroughly distraught over what had transpired, Bumblebee deserted the Autobot army. Atonement He headed to Spike's house, but Spike, resentful of the death of Sparkplug, lashed out at him.
Extermination Afterward, Spike finally realized he was being harsh on his old friend, and the two went for a night on the town, where they stopped a mugging.
Lost and Found. Bumblebee was aboard the Ark when it crashed on Earth millions of years in the past, leaving its passengers deactivated.
Along with Wheeljack , he was sealed off from the rest of the crew in the crash, and therefore avoided capture when Cobra broke into the ship and stole the dormant Transformers therein.
Bumblebee and Wheeljack were eventually revived by Teletran-One , only to find their friends missing. Joe vs. Attempting to find the missing Transformers, Bumblebee disguised himself as a Volkswagen Beetle, an altmode that really got on his nerves after months of fruitless searching.
Eventually, Wheeljack came up with some leads on Cobra's next target, while Bumblebee just grumbled that Wheeljack got all the good holographic drivers.
Joe 's Laser Squad get out of some rubble. Unfortunately, the humans didn't quite trust the giant robots, and Cover Girl fired a missile at 'Bee, who grabbed the projectile in mid-air and threw it at Rumble instead.
He and Wheeljack eventually convinced G. Joe they were good guys, and the humans provided them with the information needed to undo Cobra's reprogramming of the other Transformers.
Joe prepared to attack Cobra Island , Bumblebee and Wheeljack came with them. However, the United States government preferred nuke the island and dissect the two aliens at Area 51 , and Bumblebee was struck with a magnetic pulse and incapacitated.
Luckily, Wheeljack convinced Duke that a nuclear strike on Cobra's energon stockpile would lead to worldwide devastation, so G. Joe broke orders and took the Autobots with them to attack Cobra Island anyway.
Joe take down Devastator after the giant Decepticon killed Hound. It soon transpired that the United States government were sending the nukes regardless of G.
Joe's presence on the island, so the Autobots and humans made their way to the SPS Satellite's controls, where Bumblebee found a cowering Doctor Mindbender.
While Mindbender was forced to calibrate the satellite's beams to shoot down the approaching nuclear warheads, the facility came under attack by Storm Shadow , Firefly and various Cobra troopers.
During the battle, Bumblebee defeated Storm Shadow and his heavily damaged S. Two years later, Bumblebee was sent back through time to 's San Francisco by a malfunctioning Teletran 3 , and was left dormant in the form of a Ford Pinto.
He was found and reactivated by several G. Joes and Cobra members sent to get him back to the future, but both Bumblebee and Zartan were disappointed with his altmode compared to the much fancier car his fellow time-lost Autobot Jazz turned into.
After hunting down Hot Rod and Blitzwing in the same era, the team returned to their own time. Along with a group of Joes, the Autobots followed Serpent O.
As they retreated to avoid human casualties, Bumblebee tried to extort a kiss from Arcee if he could outrace her, but she upped the bet by offering to rotate his tires if he could pull it off.
Bumblebee accelerated in anticipation Serpent O. Then he crushed Bumblebee to death with his tentacles. The Art of War 5. Bumblebee's death had a large impact on Optimus Prime, who blamed himself for his friend's death.
Unwilling to send anyone else to their death, he went on a dangerous mission on Earth all by himself. Black Horizon, Part 1.
After laying dormant among the Fera Islands for three million years, Bumblebee and his friends were reactivated in when G.
Joe attacked Cobra 's headquarters in the archipelago. He was reformatted into a World War II -era motorcycle, complete with sidecar, and thought Optimus Prime was a bit pessimistic when he worried that Cybertron might no longer exist.
Transformed The Autobots subsequently joined G. Joe on their mission to eliminate Cobra and their Decepticon allies. Bumblebee overheard Duke and Stalker discussing that Snake-Eyes had vanished, and tried to reassure Scarlett that the missing Joe would show up eventually.
Before long, the group came under attack from Cobra paratroopers, but the bullets merely bounced off Bumblebee, who happily suggested that the Autobots should try out their new bodies in action.
Trial by Fire. Upon entering combat, the Autobots were faced with Rumble , who was easily taking out the larger tank Autobots with his earthquakes.
While Bumblebee was busy explaining who Rumble was, Scarlett commandeered him noting how "sweet" it was that he had never been driven before and drove into action, jumping above the Decepticon and destroying him with a grenade.
Bumblebee felt that he and Scarlett made a nice team, and sheepishly told her that she could drive him anytime. How cheeky! Wolves When they reached Cobra's fortress, the Terrordrome , the Autobots were attacked by a raging Bruticus , whom Bumblebee noted that he had never seen before.
In the end, the Matrix of Leadership had to be destroyed in order to stop Bruticus, which killed Bumblebee and all the other Transformers in the process.
The Iron Fist. Bumblebee participated in a savage battle against the Decepticons. He watched on in horror as The Beast rampaged across the battlefield, killing Autobots and Decepticons alike.
The Beast Within. Thankfully, Jetfire showed up just in time to rescue Prime's passengers, save Skids, who was crushed moments before Jetfire's arrival.
The Beast Within Part 2, Consequences. During the Universe War , Rhinox built a device to counteract Unicron 's attempts to abduct Transformers from across the multiverse.
Two such attempts were only partially successful, sending the would-be abductees to a barren, icy planetoid and necessitating the deployment of a rescue team.
The past Autobots worked together with the present-day rescue team and the victims to fight off Unicron's Decepticons, and the past Autobots were returned to their own time.
Voice Actor Drama. In a reality where the Dinobots consisted of Grimlock , Snarl , Slag , and Paddles , Bumblebee gained the latter's friendship and trust.
Bumblebee, Spike, and Hound happened upon a badly damaged Starscream while out racing. Bumblebee convinced the others to bring Starscream back to the Ark for repairs, under the rationale that while Starscream wouldn't have done the same for them, they weren't Decepticons.
Redemption Center. Bumblebee dropped Spike off at school and waited around in the carpark, where he was stolen by two car thieves, Jack and Rick.
The Autobot let them have some fun for a while before taking control and giving them the ride of their lives. After letting them out, Bumblebee went back to pick up Spike, who wondered why the seat was wet.
Having been on the trail of the Decepticon agent Flamewar for a long, long time, now- espionage director Bumblebee made his move, interrupting a supposedly-secure secret communication between Flamewar and the Tripredacus Council.
He revealed that his agent, Ricochet had installed a degenerating virus into Deathsaurus 's clone army. Oh, and that since the Autobots now knew Flamewar's whereabouts and who she was working for, the Tripredacus Council would certainly consider her a liability.
Which they did. So they blew her ship up. Descent into Evil. Having been part of Orion Pax's team during the latter days of the Decepticon uprising and Zeta Prime 's reign, millions of years later, Bumblebee was a member of Prowl's tactical response unit, stationed on Earth, and aided Ratchet in tracking down the original Decepticon infiltration bunker , while noting that the doctor's human friends were ultimately "acceptable losses" if it came to it.
After the Decepticon Surge and their subsequent retreat from Earth, Optimus Prime gave himself up to Skywatch and Hot Rod took a splinter group with the aim of getting off the planet by any means necessary, Bumblebee was elected leader by the remaining Autobots.
What followed was a leadership in a constant state of crisis, as few respected his authority, with many continuing to defer to the returned Optimus Prime.
After the Chaos War, Bumblebee found himself in nominal charge of the reborn Cybertron as Optimus Prime once again departed, this time in the face of a hostile civilian population , and the renamed "Rodimus" again took a splinter group of Autobots elsewhere, this time on a quixotic quest for the Knights of Cybertron.
Played by all, an uprising led by Megatron proved the final straw for the civilian "NAILs" with both factions, and with Starscream renouncing his faction and grasping the opportunity, both Bumblebee's Autobots and the Decepticons were exiled to the Cybertronian wilderness.
Shortly afterward, in the " Dark Cybertron " crisis, Bumblebee was killed by Shockwave. Oddly enough, the Transformer most bothered by this was Megatron.
However Bumblebee did survive, in a sense, his consciousness ending up in Infraspace , where he would bug Starscream as a ghost, before eventually restored after briefly joining with Pyra Magna.
In the aftermath of Unicron 's apocalyptic attack, Prowl turned Megatron over to the Galactic Council for a trial, the act allowing the Cybertronians a chance to finally join the organization, Bumblebee acting as their representative, accompanied by the ghost of Starscream.
In an alternate universe, the Transformers landed on Earth before the Ice Age, taking on the forms of dinosaurs and giant insects; Bumblebee took on the form of a Gastonia -like dinosaur.
When the climate became too cold for the war to continue, Bumblebee and the other Autobots entered into stasis lock to prevent further damage.
Thousands of years later, Bumblebee awoke to the age of humans from the noise of John Henry's hammering. Bumblebee was impressed by the humans' industriousness, and disguised himself as a small steam locomotive with no control cab, and a built in steam-hammer for driving spikes.
After Bumblebee revealed himself in robot form to Henry, Henry set aside his mistrust of automation after realizing that Bumblebee was a living being not just a machine who wanted to put in a fair day's work.
Hearts of Steel 2. Bumblebee woke several of his fellow Autobots, who soon discovered that the Decepticons were also active in this era.
After taking on locomotive alt modes themselves, Hearts of Steel 3 Bumblebee, the Autobots, and their new human friends worked together to prevent the Decepticons' mighty Astrotrain from reaching New York City.
With the Decepticons defeated, Bumblebee and the Autobots returned to their slumber. Hearts of Steel 4. Years later when the Autobots learned of the rise of an Elder God , they realized they needed the power of Optimus Prime, but didn't have enough energy to awaken him from stasis lock.
Disguising himself in a new streetcar mode, Bumblebee made contact with Tobias Muldoon , an inventor he had befriended during his earlier adventure, and requested his help in gathering electricity.
Infestation 2: The Transformers 1. The Autobots continued to stand guard over humanity until the modern day, when Ratchet was captured by the human organization Skylogic Systems , prompting Bumblebee and Optimus Prime to investigate.
Their search led them to the Lone Gunmen , three humans who revealed that they were out to stop Skylogic from producing a virus made partially from Ratchet's DNA.
Joining forces, the Autobots and Gunmen captured and interrogated Skylogic scientist David Simmons , learning the location of where Ratchet was being held.
Being the smaller of the Autobots, Bumblebee took the form of a military vehicle to his chagrin and infiltrated the facility with the Gunmen, hitting it off particularly well with his "ninja buddy" Richard Langly.
While freeing Ratchet he was paralyzed by a Skylogic weapon, and though he urged the others to run, Langly turned back and destroyed the weapon, allowing him to escape.
The Autobots then said goodbye to their new allies and took off elsewhere in an attempt to lure away Skylogic pursuers. On a shopping trip, Bumblebee became frustrated over the fact that he was never able to find the toys he wanted on store shelves.
Later, a vending machine caught his eye, and he wound up spending all his money on "her. Bumblebee denied this, claiming that what they had was true love.
Bumblebee's pleas for him to stop were left unheeded. Mini Mayhem! A Bumblebee with a Cybertronian alternate-mode was among the many off-worlders being processed when Skyfall , Landquake , and Breakaway arrived in Axiom Nexus.

Slumber Party. When Megatron and the Decepticons attacked Earth in the 21st century, Bumblebee and the Autobots were there to stop them.
During a battle in Tokyo, Bumblebee got the drop on Starscream , dousing him with a fire engine's hose and leaving him open for a thrashing from Grimlock.
Later, Bumblebee helped shield human bystanders from injury when Astrotrain went on a rampage, Henkei!
Bumblebee was last seen helping to once more protect humans when the Decepticons attacked a power plant with their newest member, the reluctant Skyfire.
Bumblebee was part of a small Autobot team led by Optimus Prime who left Cybertron to pursue the Energon Cube through space. Bumblebee and the other Autobots set up a subterranean base below the Cube's impact crater, and began their search for the shards, taking the forms of local vehicles to hide their activities.
Eleven years later, the driverless vehicle mode Bumblebee was spotted by a schoolchild in the vicinity of the Star Dome , a building since constructed over the Cube crater.
Hearing the story from this witness, fame-seeking schoolboy Wataru Hoshinoumi ditched school to investigate the Star Dome, only for coincidence to lead him to step right in front of the speeding Bumblebee!
Bumblebee was forced to transform and vault over the boy to prevent injuring him, but was able to make his escape before Wataru got a good look at him.
Bumblebee hastily continued on his way to the Star Dome, and arrived to find it under attack by Starscream and Ramjet.
Wataru, too, had made it to the Dome, and Bumblebee saved him from Starscream before realizing with surprise that he was the same boy from earlier.
The Transformers The other Autobots soon arrived to join the fight, and Bumblebee tried to protect Wataru from injury by scooping him up and tossing him to the relative safety of the stands.
For his trouble, the small Autobot was pinned by Starscream, but Wataru returned the favor by blinding the Decepticon with a fire extinguisher.
The battle was then joined by the Decepticon leader Megatron , who attempted to make an example of Bumblebee and Wataru by blasting them with his fusion cannon, but at the last second, Optimus Prime was apparently able to deflect Megatron's shot with one of his own.
Megatron covered the Decepticons' subsequent retreat by collapsing a part of the Star Dome, but Bumblebee protected Wataru from the rubble by shielding him with his own body.
The pair then properly introduced themselves to one another, and Wataru was invited into the Autobots' base for an explanation. The Emperor of Destruction Appears!
Bumblebee and Prime showed Wataru through their base on their way to the medical bay, where Bumblebee was to be treated for repairs. Bumblebee did not relish Optimus's medical ministrations, and the two Autobots were so busy trying to get through the process that they did not notice Wataru touching the large shard of the Energon Cube that they had recovered in their time on Earth.
A bizarre energy discharge resulted that not only showed the Autobots images of another time and place , but also healed all of Bumblebee's wounds.
Prime pulled Wataru away from the shard and things returned to normal, leaving Bumblebee and the boy to marvel over what had occurred, and Prime to ponder what it might mean.
Bumblebee then took Wataru back to school, but when he nearly blabbed everything that had happened to him to the assembled teachers, students and police, Bumblebee was forced to bump into him from behind shut him up.
Unfortunately for 'Bee, he then had to beat a hast retreat as the police came chasing after him for his "hit and run" offense!
Kingdom of Giants. Bumblebee was next called into action when Starscream attacked a hydro-electric power plant with the help of his brainwashed comrade, Skyfire.
The Enemy from the Arctic Once again, Bumblebee tried to save Wataru from the Decepticons and was blasted as a result.
This time, however, the pair were both saved by Skyfire, who was struggling against the mind-controlling influence of the helmet Starscream had placed on his head.
All the combatants were shocked when a surge of familiar surge of energy erupted from Wataru's body; again, Bumblebee's wounds were healed, and Skyfire was empowered to overcome the helmet.
Skyfire helped fend the Decepticons off and joined the Autobots, returning with them to their base where Prime explained to Bumblebee what he had come to understand about Wataru: he was a being known as a " Booster ", born with the ability to control the energies of the Energon Cube.
Both Bumblebee and Wataru were very excited at the idea that Wataru would now be able to help the Autobots in their fight. Wataru's Power.
Bumblebee was one of the many oppressed Cybertronians who sought freedom when their planet's halls of power grew dark with corruption, greed and malice.

Bumblebee wanted to rush in but Optimus Prime suggested they create a diversion. They caused an explosion which distracted Cyclonus.
Bumblebee attacked and kept him busy while Optimus Prime snuck up and hit him over the head with his energon-axe.
Megatron chose to blow up the mining operation and retreat with Cyclonus. Optimus Prime and Bumblebee drove off leaving the flaming wreckage of the mining operation behind.
Fight for Energon. Bumblebee was one of Optimus Prime's many Autobot friends who joined him on a journey to Earth.

Upon approaching the planet Earth , the artificial intelligence Synergy presented footage of the Autobots to her crew-mate, the young Acroyear , so that he could learn about his potential allies and enemies on the alien world.

Thanks to his mucking about with the Decepticons' computer, Megatron wound up getting a gumball machine strapped to his chest. Enraged, he tossed the candy dispenser to the ground, and wound up tripping on the gumballs that spilled all over the floor.
Megatron wound up tripping on the gumballs and had his parts come off his chassis when he fell to the ground. Optimus and Bumblebee congratulated each other on a prank well done!
Bumblebee was out and about with Ironhide when they came upon Starscream preening in front of a full-length mirror. The narcissistic Decepticon was then attacked by Predaking , who scattered his pieces.

Bumblebee then attached the wings to himself and took off skywards. Take Flight! Bumblebee tussled with Megatron. Throughout the fight, both 'bots' parts got rearranged in bizarre ways.
At the end of the struggle, Bumblebee stood properly assembled, while Megatron found his chassis stripped of its parts!
Humiliated, Megatron took off. Optimus later helped Bumblebee put his parts back on his bare chassis. During the dress-up, Bumblebee managed to accidentally swallow his Autobot badge.
Choking, he coughed up a bird and a bike horn before the badge came back out. With his airway now clear, he sang a little bit. When he noted that Optimus didn't think much of the tune, he asked if the other Autobot wanted "piece of him".
Bumblebee Speaks! On another occasion, Optimus got a little carried away with strapping new parts onto Bumblebee. Bumblebee tried to protest Optimus attaching a rocket to his shoulder, but the booster activated and sent Bumblebee wheeling through the air.
Bumblebee eventually came crashing back down, and gave a "thumbs up" to show he was okay. Bumblebee was one of the Autobots of Metropolis, who maintained order throughout the multiverse from Cloud World.
He was dispatched by Ironhide to deal with an energy surge at the HM Spacetime. Uprising Back in Metropolis , Bumblebee learned that the Decepticons had managed to abduct SARA , the super-robotic being that allowed not only for the Autobots' ability to travel to other dimensions, but ensured their continued prosperity.
Though normally brave at heart, Bumblebee began to panic at the news and turned to Optimus, questioning how their civilization could continue to function without SARA.
Optimus calmed his troops down, and assured them that it was possible to retrieve SARA from the Underground Though the Autobots had been skittish about travelling to the Underground at first, they found their courage when Optimus suggested this course of action.
All of them volunteered to join Optimus on the rescue operation. Once the group was ready, Optimus gave the order Starscream pursued Bumblebee through space, determined to use him to lure Optimus Prime out of hiding.

Mikaela quickly shot down Bumblebee's concerns about her safety, though she did almost get squished when 'Bee took out the bunker guard Swindle.

Spotting the human in charge of the unit, Bumblebee and Mikaela ran a gauntlet of human and Decepticon firepower, blinding the former with his headlights and roasting the latter with his fiery exhaust, in order to get to the man.
Having got in close enough, Bumblebee was able to detect a mind-controlling Decepticon cerebro-strip on the man, and Mikaela freed him from its effects, ending the conflict.

The revelation that Stockade's "New Decepticons" were in control of the planet's Nucleon supply, followed by the appearance of a strange energy anomaly in Cybertron's orbit, Return to Cybertron: Part 1 convinced Bumblebee to try talking, rather than fighting; after convincing Ironhide to stop throwing his face at Stockade's fists, he learned from Stockade that the anomaly was a living entity the Decepticons had deliberately summoned, believing it would rejuvenate Cybertron.
Return to Cybertron: Part 2. Not trusting this entity and wanting to stop all the Nucleon being used up, Bumblebee had the Autobots create a distraction while he turned the Nucleon transfer off, and sent a distress call to Optimus Prime on Earth.
His efforts to prevent the arrival of the entity failed, and it revealed itself to be Unicron, the Anti-Life , as it began to possess Cybertron itself.
Return to Cybertron: Part 2 In the resulting chaos, Bumblebee had to rescue Ironhide when the satellite dish collapsed on him.
Return to Cybertron: Part 3 Optimus soon arrived in response to Bumblebee's summons, brokered an alliance with Stockade, and came up with a plan: Cut off the Nucleon that Unicron's body was using for power.
Bumblebee and Armorhide were dispatched to drain the Nucleon seam, but were not able to siphon all of the fuel off fast enough, so Ratchet came up with a quicker alternative: blowing it up.

Bombing Run Battle. Bumblebee Mobile Battle Bunker Like several other Transformers, he took to inscribing Cyberglyphics on his armor before significant battles, out of a superstitious racial belief that they granted good luck.
Streetside Bot Brawl. In a celebration of the Transformers brand, Bumblebee showed up as the representative for the "Movie" era of the franchise.
Mini Mayhem! Ironhide, meanwhile, had gone missing in the jungle; Bumblebee reported the problem to Optimus, who had 'Bee perform a scan of the area.
Bumblebee discovered several rich deposits of energon ore, which Prime pinpoint Ironhide's location. Cyber Missions 5 Reunited, Bumblebee and Ironhide went on a training exercise in the Arctic, where the bigger 'bot put 'Bee through his paces.
As Bumblebee was frequently singled out as a target by the Decepticons because of his small size, Ironhide taught him the importance of staying on guard and being mindful of his surroundings.
As the pair sparred, Bumblebee learned another benefit of being aware of everything around him when Ironhide stopped their fight after they nearly crushed a strange little plant growing through the ice Cyber Missions 8.
A menacing look from Bumblebee sent the diminutive Chopster running off in terror; 'Bee called after him to tell Smolder they would "like a word", hoping they could perhaps talk the situation out rather than fight, but Smolder wasn't interested.
Bumblebee grappled with the pyromaniac Decepticon while Ratchet powered up his EMP blaster, which he then used to knock Smolder offline. Cyber Missions 9.
Optimus reported finding Megatron and Starscream in the Arctic regions of Earth, and Bumblebee was summoned to aid his leader in battle alongside Ironhide, Ratchet and Sideswipe.
Leaving Megatron to handle Prime, Starscream attacked all the Autobots at once, but the combined fire of the four heroes was enough to ground the Decepticon.
Cyber Missions Optimus later laid a trap to lure the Decepticons to a final confrontation with a hologram of Soundwave, and Megatron indeed walked right into it.
Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Ratchet arrived to join the battle, and in the ensuing fight, Bumblebee took on Mindwipe. The Decepticon tried to hypnotize Bumblebee into not fighting, but Bumblebee blocked out his voice and kept up the attack.
An army of humans soon arrived and surrounded the combatants, and the day went to the Autobots. Optimus instructed the Decepticons to leave Earth to be destroyed, and after they had fled, Bumblebee stamped a huge Autobot symbol in the dirt, a marker visible from far away that let all Decepticons who saw it know that the Autobots protected the planet.
Decepticons Attack. Bumblebee charged to Sam's defense when Starscream tried to abduct the boy, but proved no match for the Decepticon, and was flung around the yard.
As Starscream started making off with Sam, Bumblebee made another attempt to stop him, and was brushed aside. Luckily Optimus arrived to help, and Starscream soon fled, but the Witwicky's yard was in ruins.
Sam in Danger. As he entered the facility, Decepticon spy Ravage was able to quickly sneak through the closing door behind him, but Bumblebee spotted him in his rear-view mirror and quickly went on the attack.
When Ravage pounced on him, Bumblebee triggered his headlights, blinding the feline Decepticon and sending him fleeing, leaving Bumblebee confused as to the point of the infiltration Ambition Instigated.
Bumblebee met up with Optimus, Ironhide and Sideswipe in a desert to train. He raced Sideswipe, only for their training to be interrupted by a large boulder tumbling towards a nearby town.
The two Autobots destroyed the boulder before resuming their race. They met back up with Optimus and Ironhide afterwards, and Optimus revealed the they had encountered a "natural disaster" as well.
The source of the disturbances soon revealed itself to be Megatron and Starscream tunneling underground. Though the two Decepticons attempted to ambush the Autobots, Bumblebee and the others were able to send them running thanks to the training they had gone through that day.
Training Day. Bumblebee and Sideswipe had a nasty run-in with the Decepticons, leaving Bumblebee pinned under a massive metal bar. Thankfully, Ratchet came to their rescue, and repaired them both.
Bumblebee later helped the Autobots defeat the Decepticons in Egypt. Ratchet to the Rescue. Bumblebee was out for a drive with Wheelie, Sam and Mikaela one day when Starscream swooped down and began to attack them!
Bumblebee suggested to Wheelie that they gun for Starscream's wings to defeat the Decepticon. Wheelie disagreed, saying that they had to outsmart Starscream to defeat him.
The two Autobots began to argue, becoming oblivious to Starscream attacking their human companions. Thankfully, Optimus Prime showed up to knock out Starscream.
Optimus then chastised Bumblebee and Wheelie for allowing their feelings get in the way of protecting Sam and Mikaela. Bumblebee realized he was in the wrong, but was still too worked up to make his apologies to Wheelie.
Instead, he stormed off. But he didn't get far before Starscream regained consciousness and resumed his attack. Optimus ordered Bumblebee to work with Wheelie to stop Starscream.
The pair managed to do so by outwitting Starscream and destroying his wings, making the Decepticon crash into a nearby tunnel and crippling his flying abilities.
With Starscream down, Bumblebee and the rest of the group celebrated another victory over the Decepticons.
Buddy Brawl. Sam witnessed the Decepticons Buzzsaw and Ratbat tear up a human city, while Soundwave declared that the Autobots had abandoned the humans.
Refusing to believe the Decepticon's lies, Sam and Bumblebee set out to find Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots. It turned out that the Autobots had been tricked by Soundwave to go to the wrong location when they rolled out to engage the Decepticons.
Sam and Bumblebee led Optimus and his troops to the scene of the conflict, where Optimus quickly dispatched the Decepticons. Afterwards, Optimus thanked for Sam's part in the day's events, while Bumblebee and the rest of the Autobots cheered.
Satellite Meltdown. Bumblebee helped Optimus chase down Megatron to an old warehouse. There, Bumblebee duked it out with Starscream.
The battle between the Autobots and Decepticons that ensued would decide the fate of the Earth! Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Spot the 'Bots.
Bumblebee had never ridden a Dinobot before, and decided to start by trying to mount Strafe. Guided by a kind but astonishingly unhelpful narrator, Bumblebee's attempts to mount Strafe left something to be desired.
After many failed efforts, Bumblebee simply destroyed the instruction manual to riding Dinobots before storming off in annoyance, much to the narrator's surprise.
Getting on a Dinobot. When Optimus Prime asked the Autobots to accompany him into the depths of a Chinese forest, Bumblebee was sure that their objective was important When Hound's tough-talking approach failed to win the Dinobots' hearts, 'Bee tried a kinder, gentler method, offering the Dinos a little snack.
This worked a bit too well, and he would have been crushed when the Dinobots mobbed him to get the goodies had Strafe not lifted him into the air.
Bumblebee pushed his luck when he climbed onto the flying Dinobot's back, however, and Strafe promptly threw him back to the ground.
Subsequently, when Grimlock caught the scent of Decepticons nearby, Strafe and the other Dinobots relented and allowed Bumblebee and the Autobots to saddle up so they could all ride out to face the villains together.
How to Ride a Dinobot! Bumblebee was hanging out at the Transformers Expo in Yokohama when Nemesis Prime came crashing into the building.
The evil Prime initially mistook Bumblebee for a cosplayer, only to realize that the little yellow Autobot was the real deal when he attacked him alongside the two versions of Optimus Prime also visiting the show.
Nemesis soon got himself some backup in the form of a second Nemesis Prime and Nemesis Grimlock , but before they could all do much more than glare at each other, the combined energies of the AllSpark, the Matrix of Leadership and the seed —all on display at the Expo, because why not—suddenly began reacting with the Dark Energon within the first Nemesis Prime.
This was all part of a complicated plot by Unicron , but fortunately, Nemesis resisted the dark urges within himself, and channeled all the Dark Energon into the stickers his creator Doctor Arkeville had used to make him evil.
Nemesis ripped the stickers off and hurled them into the air, where all the Autobots and Decepticons—and even the Expo's human attendees, using their cell phones—blasted them and stopped the chain reaction.
All together, pretty odd. Yokohama Decepticon Secret Base. Discovering that the Decepticons were increasing their strength through artifacts from the Cheetos galaxy , Bumblebee and the Autobots recruited your help to acquire the power-enhancing objects.
In this world, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and Lockdown were aware that they were toys: specifically, Q-Transformers , a new line of cute-looking Transformers merchandise produced to tie-in with the 30th anniversary of the Transformers brand.
Bumblebee occasionally changed his look to one more reminiscent of his Generation 1 counterpart , but his "default" form was that of a toy based on his Age of Extinction look.
They hung out at different famous service areas on Japanese expressways, and talked about the Mystery of Convoy video game, and the remake produced as a tie-in with their toyline, Mystery of Convoy Returns.
Discussing the ins and outs of their cute designs, Optimus and his pals explained that they were created for the purpose of appealing to non-Transformers fans.
Bumblebee suggested that another way to tap that market would be to create "Zodiac Transformers", based on all the different animals of the Chinese zodiac, but Lockdown had a different idea: a humanized Transformers "Boys Love" romance, where he and Optimus competed for Bumblebee's affection.
Bumblebee was not impressed. Mystery of the 30th Anniversary Merchandise The trio went on to talk about the original Mystery of Convoy , and Bumblebee got a telling-off from Optimus when he pointed out that it was a famously terribly game.
Discussing traits that they thought made games bad, Bumblebee suggested that an RPG already completed when you started would be pretty awful.
Mystery of Reliably Crappy Games When Lockdown suggested that re-releasing such a terrible game was like rubbing salt in a wound, Bumblebee didn't understand the expression.
Optimus explained, and they all tried to come up with situations the phrase was applicable to; taking it a bit too far, Bumblebee suggested getting pooped on by bird, then looking up to discover that a meteor was about to crash into the Earth.
Mystery of Smearing Salt in the Open Wound The group then talked about the rubbish stage bosses in Mystery of Convoy , particularly the floating Decepticon insignia , and wondered what sort of fictional scenarios it could be used in.
Mystery of the Stage Bosses. Prime and company began being joined by their friends to discuss facets of the game. Prowl participated in a talk about the differences between the original and the remake, Mystery of the Wittily Similar Circumstances while Wheeljack highlighted the tonal "gap" between the cute character designs and the very un -cute action in the game.
Everyone tried to think of examples of similar "gaps": Bumblebee suggested a handsome young man cooking a nice meal Mystery of the Gap of Unpopular Men Sunstreaker and Sideswipe joined them to talk about classic terrible games, which turned into a discussion about adventure and exploring, and the comforts an explorer might like to have with them on such a journey—Bumblebee thought a nice pillow would be just the thing.
Mystery of a Certain Explorer Bluestreak and Smokescreen also talked about some famously awful old games, segueing into a discussion about psychokinetic powers; Bumblebee was concerned about the potential of such powers to interfere with television.
Mystery of a Certain Psychic. When Tracks came along to share his thoughts on points of commonality among famously awful games, the group talked about the technical advancements of video games, with Bumblebee mentioning motion-control.
Mystery of Game Balance Red Alert also had some opinions on the common themes of bad games, but Bumblebee and Optimus's willingness to settle for less frustrated Lockdown.
Mystery of the Lowest Possible Standards. Bumblebee had changed his look when Jazz dropped in, to one resembling his Generation 1 self but with a Daihatsu Copen alternate mode.
They talked about the constantly changing looks of Transformers through history, and how Bumblebee used to be called "Bumble" in Japan.
He told them how Optimus and Lockdown would argue over the crappy's games merits—but to be reminded of the games shortcomings only sent Magnus into floods of shameful tears.
Mystery of Mystery of Convoy. When Megatron turned up to join the argument over just how bad Mystery of Convoy was, Optimus quickly switched bodies, taking on the form of his Generation 1 self ; seeing this, Bumblebee also switched from his Age of Extinction form to his Daihatsu Copen body.
They argued back and forth for a bit, discussing other ways the game could have been remade using staples of Japanese media, and Bumblebee proposed a "sports day"-style version.
Mystery of Return of Convoy. After sneaking inside thanks to the carelessness of Skywarp , he spotted the missing humans being used for slave labor, and also managed to steal the global crystal from the Decepticons' computer.
He managed to escape the Decepticon base and hid at the bottom of a lake while the Decepticons searched fruitlessly. Bumblebee's report and the stolen global crystal allowed Optimus Prime to force the Decepticons to free their prisoners.
Bumblebee to the Rescue. Bumblebee, along with Windcharger , Cliffjumper and Beachcomber maintained a hour watch on the Decepticon base in shifts.
Menace at the Dam He didn't like the very idea of Starscream defecting to the Autobots. Bumblebee spied on the Decepticon base until he saw Megatron's forces leaving on the wild goose chase which Optimus and Prowl had tricked Starscream into sending them on.
The Autobots were then able to destroy the Decepticon base. In a path where Mirage used a hologram of Optimus Prime to lure the four cerebro-shell -controlled Dinobots over the edge of Bandit's Bluff and into the ocean, Bumblebee was one of the Autobots crewing Seaspray's that helped haul the unconscious quartet aboard for safe transport back to the Ark.
In an alternate path, Optimus Prime assigned Skids and Bumblebee to investigate suspicious activity in Dolphin's Bay using Wheeljack's new mini-sub.
Sludge , considering himself the best water-fighter, also wanted in on the mission, but Optimus could tell that Bumblebee and Skids didn't want him along.
If Optimus sent the pair without Sludge, they faced the option of detouring down a suspicious trail through the woods. If they did, a trap landed them in a cell in a supermodern lab, where Scrapper and Gravedigger disassembled them and used their remains as the first components of the Autobot Memorial Power Plant.
If they continued to Dolphin's Bay and the sub, they traced electromagnetic waves back to some black coral. Bumblebee exited the hatch to break a piece off, triggering an explosion which trapped him in a canyon beneath broken columns of crimson coral.
Without underwater gear, Skids's only options were to use the computer to translate some nearby dolphins ' language and ask them for help, or go back to the channel where he could radio Seaspray.
If he went back for help, Seaspray used his laser to free Bumblebee, but then Starscream blew all three of them up with a cluster bomb.
If Skids tried translating the dolphins' language, he succeeded in five minutes, talking the three largest dolphins into moving the broken coral.
Bumblebee brought the black coral and his report back to Optimus Prime, ensuring an Autobot victory. If Prime did include Sludge on Bumblebee and Skids's mission, Bumblebee used an underwater cave to infiltrate Mount Lomas , where he heard Megatron making a speech about Operation Black Coral vanquishing the Autobots in less than a day.
He radioed the info to Skids, but Soundwave intercepted the transmission. Bumblebee dove back into the water, only to be paralyzed by the sonic attack of Frenzy.
From that point, there are four possible endings, all of which include an Autobot victory and Bumblebee's rescue. Dinobots Strike Back. Bumblebee was on a scouting mission, looking for signs of Decepticon activity.
Just before Bumblebee decided to head back to base, several vehicles sped past him, being chased by the Decepticon planes Blitzwing and Starscream.
As the two flying Decepticons wreaked havoc on the farmland, Bumblebee had to decide whether he would fight them or hide.
If Bumblebee decided to take on the Decepticons by himself, he managed to sucker-punch Blitzwing, causing him to fall out of the sky and crash.
Bumblebee then managed to overpower Starscream, but not before Starscream called for reinforcements. With Bombshell arriving on-scene to backup Starscream, Bumblebee was forced to flee.
If Bumblebee decided to make a dash through a nearby cornfield, he was stunned by Starscream's null rays and is left to the Decepticon's mercy.
If he decided to double back to a nearby town and hide in a used-car parking lot instead, he managed to evade the Decepticons' fire long enough to successfully conceal himself.
With Bumblebee hiding in plain sight, he overheard Starscream talking to Megatron over the radio; the Decepticons planned to destroy the humans' food supply by destroying their farmlands.
As soon as the coast was clear, Bumblebee decided to return to Autobot headquarters, only to run into Prowl, Hound and Swoop.
The Autobots debated whether it would be smarter to return to Autobot headquarters and inform Optimus of the situation, or to take on the Decepticons immediately before they caused more damage.
If they decided to report back to Optimus, they became stranded in the middle of nowhere due to a sudden storm, unable to deliver their message.
Because of this, humans were doomed to either slavery or starvation at the Decepticons' hands. If the small troop of Autobots instead decided to take on the Decepticons on their own, they are spied upon by Soundwave, who warns Megatron of their approach.
Before they encountered any Decepticons, however, Bumblebee and company ran into Buster Witwicky. Buster informed them that the Decepticons were after his father, who had discovered of a fatal flaw in Decepticon circuitry.
With this new information presented to them, Bumblebee and the Autobots had to make yet another decision; stick to their original plan, or rescue Sparkplug immediately.
If Bumblebee decided that the Decepticons destroying farmland was a more important matter to attend to, they are ambushed by the Decepticons almost immediately, and are subsequently destroyed.
If Bumblebee and company went after Sparkplug instead, they soon found him hiding in the hills, trapped in a cave surrounded by Decepticons.
In one sequence of events, Bumblebee's team manages to rescue Sparkplug mainly due to Swoop's heroic actions. In another version of the events that followed, Swoop led as many Decepticons as he could away from the cave, leaving Bumblebee, Prowl and Hound to defend the humans in the cave from the remaining evil robots.
If the remaining team decided to stick together, they had to fend off over a dozen Decepticons, including Megatron, on their own.
The ensuing battle lasted for two days before Sparkplug noticed a light coming from the rear of the cave. If the Autobots decided to attempt to escape the cave by driving towards this light however, they doomed themselves by tumbling down a pit concealed by the cave's darkness.
If Bumblebee and company held out a little longer instead, their reinforcements finally arrived, and drove away the Decepticons. Unfortunately, Sparkplug's blueprints were destroyed in battle, leading to Bumblebee to bemoan that the whole ordeal they suffered through was for nothing.
If Bumblebee had earlier decided to send out Prowl with Sparkplug to reach the rest of the Autobots, the whole adventure turned out to be nothing but a dream If Bumblebee's initially had decided to pretend to be a damaged car on the side of the road instead of fighting Blitzwing and Starscream, the two Decepticons transform to overlook their handiwork, and discuss between each-other their plan to starve the humans by burning their farmland, within earshot of Bumblebee.
With this newly acquired knowledge, Bumblebee returned to Autobot headquarters and reported back to Optimus.
Although Optimus initially wished to leave Bumblebee behind as he redeployed Autobots to stop the Decepticons, Bumblebee's insistence on coming along convinced the Autobot leader to allow Bumblebee to join them.
Unfortunately, Blitzwing and Starscream's discussion turned out to be a ruse; the Decepticons' true ploy was to goad the Autobots into open farmland, where they would be easy targets for the airborne Decepticons.
Any attempt you made in helping the Autobots only yielded their doom, and so Bumblebee and the Autobots had to take on the Decepticons by themselves if they were to have a chance at success.
Left to their own devices, the Autobots soon found themselves in a vulnerable position as the Decepticon jets approached them.
If Optimus decided to keep his forces together, Bumblebee and the rest of the Autobots made a break for a nearby bridge, only for them to be blasted before they reached it.
If however, Optimus decided to split his forces, Bumblebee and the rest of the Autobots managed to live to fight another day. Battle Drive.
Bumblebee was present while Ironhide was testing a new device of Sparkplug's invention, the Sun-Pak. When the Decepticons subsequently ambushed the Autubots' underground testing facility to steal the Sun-Pak, Bumble found a tunnel and possible escape route for the Autobots to use.
He informed Optimus Prime of this passage, and awaited his leader's decision on whether to use the escape route, or continue to fight the Decepticons, despite the Autobots' waning power levels.
If the Optimus decides to not only fight the Decepticons, but have all the Autobots concentrate their fire upon Starscream, refusing the Decepticon's surrender even once the odds have turned against the leader of the Decepticons' raiding party, the Decepticons manage to kidnap Sparkplug.
Bumblebee, alongside Blaster and Buster, are sent on a rescue mission while the rest of the Autobots return to base to recharge.
Tracking Starscream's location to a museum in the suburbs, Bumblebee is forced to wait outside, in the museum's parking lot, while Buster and a disguised Blaster investigate.
If Blaster and Buster later return to Bumblebee for assistance, informing the little yellow Autobot that Starscream and Bombshell are alone in the museum with their captive, and intend to use a Cerebro-Shell to mind-control Sparkplug, Bumblebee formulates a plan.
The easily manipulated Seeker is then tricked by the Autobots to release Sparkplug and forestall Bombshell, as Bumblebee, Blaster, Buster and Sparkplug make their way to Autobot base, laughing all the way at the Decepticons' misfortune.
If Optimus decides to have his Autobots follow Bumblebee into the tunnel the little yellow Autobot discovered at any point during their initial encounter with the Decepticon forces, Bumblebee encounters a fork in the tunnel that he admits was not there when he first discovered the tunnel.
Not knowing which leads to the surface, the Autobots are once again forced to make a choice. And though one tunnel does indeed lead to the surface, the other leads to the Insecticons' nest!
In the event that the Autobots choose the tunnel leading to the surface, the Autobots lose possession of the Sun-Pak to the Insecticons nonetheless.
If Optimus decides to have the Autobots return to base to refuel in light of these events, Bumblebee is the one to discover the booby-trapped Sun-Pak in Decepticon territory once the Autobots have ventured there in an attempt to diplomatically retrieve the device from the Decepticons.
Attack of the Insecticons. When the convoy heard a large explosion in the distance, Optimus sent Cosmos to investigate the noise.
If Cosmos radioed his findings to Optimus immediately, Optimus's convoy moved in to investigate a nearby Decepticon base. En route, the Autobots passed near a human town, but began floating in mid-air before being able to reach it.
Evidently, the phenomenon was caused by a Decepticon anti-gravity weapon. Then, the Autobots heard Decepticons approaching.
Helpless in their current position, the Autobots were quickly eradicated by the Decepticons. If Optimus ordered his troops to attack the Decepticon base, they soon reached an area free of the anti-gravity beam's influence, though not before Bumblebee took the time to goof off a bit in the gravity-deprived environment.
They were then attacked by a small fleet of Decepticons. The Decepticons were quickly forced to break off their attack and retreated. But with the battle over, the Autobots noticed a small human boy at their feet.
The Autobots then headed for the Decepticon base, with their stowaway. Megatron delivered an ultimatum; if the Autobots did not surrender Optimus Prime to the Decepticons immediately, he would use his gravity beam to have the nearby humans float off into space.
If the Autobots decided to continue with their initial plan to simply attack the Decepticon base, their advance was halted by a force field.
Megatron then fired his beam in all directions, causing a ripple effect that sent everything not fastened down to the Earth's surface to float helplessly out into space.
Alternatively, the Autobots could concoct a plan where Optimus would pretend to allow himself to be taken prisoner, per Buddy's suggestion.
In actuality, Bumblebee and the rest of the Autobots were hidden away inside Optimus's trailer. The Autobots then led a surprise attack on their unsuspecting foes.
In the event that Buddy tampered with the gravity gun in the ensuing battle, the Autobots would emerge victorious. In the event that Buddy instead entered a space-time anomaly created throughout the course of the battle, the Autobots would lose their fight against the Decepticons, and Bumblebee wound up either injured or dead.
They were soon met by a squad of flying Decepticons, but were at a strict disadvantage against their adversaries as their vehicle modes possessed no weapons.
Desert Flight. Bumblebee was amongst the Autobots about to be topped up with their latest batch of fuel when Red Alert burst into Autobot headquarters, warning everyone about Ramjet being spotted nearby.
In one version of the ensuing events, the Autobots were able to beat back the Decepticons, though not without receiving some grievous injuries themselves.
During the final battle of the Power Rangers film, the Red Ranger, while piloting his T-Rex Zord, accidentally steps on a yellow Camaro of a similar model as the live-action Bumblebee.
He throws the car at an army of Putties and shouts, "Sorry, Bumblebee! Bumblebee appears in the Transformers Animated series in as a yellow hot hatch undercover police car scanned from a vehicle driven by Detroit Police Captain Fanzone.
The character of Bumblebee in Animated is described as a hot headed racing young Autobot who likes video games, making him more akin to Armada Hot Shot than the original Bumblebee.
He does however retain the traditional warm-heartedness and human-friendly attitude of the original due to his friendship with Sari Sumdac and Bulkhead.
Although considered childish and self-centered by many of his fellow Autobots, Bumblebee shows a loyal and caring side for his friends, and can be considered protective of Sari Sumdac, to the extent of blocking shots, blasts, and missiles from harming her.
This was first shown in "Transform and Roll Out! Part 3" when he deflected a shot from Starscream that was aimed at Sari.
The blast rendered him unconscious until Sari healed him with her Key. He is the kid-friendly character of the show.
Bumblebee has a retractable face plate he uses when he goes into combat and a retractable weapon called "energy stingers" in both hands. He can use the wheels on his feet in robot mode as motorized roller blades.
In the episode "Autoboot Camp", Bumblebee has flashbacks to his days as an Autobot trainee. During training, he met Bulkhead, Longarm, Ironhide, and Wasp.
The group was under the command of Drill Sergeant Sentinel Minor, who gave Bumblebee his name after calling him a "bumbler".
Bumblebee would often say or do the wrong thing, resulting in the entire platoon receiving Transformation push-ups as a result, which made him unpopular with Wasp and Ironhide.
One day, Bumblebee heard someone communicating with Megatron. Believing the traitor to be Wasp, Bumblebee with help from Longarm discovered evidence in Wasp's locker.
For discovering the traitor, Sentinel was prepared to give Bumblebee Elite Guard membership. However, Bumblebee gave up that chance by taking the rap for Bulkhead, who had previously knocked a building onto Sentinel, and was about to be removed from training, joining his new friend as a Space Bridge technician.
Bulkhead and Bumblebee were assigned to a Space Bridge repair ship under the command of Optimus Prime , along with Ratchet. Both he and Bulkhead were the first to encounter Prowl before he joins their group.
In the series finale, during a rescue mission to save Arcee, who was on the moon, Bumblebee manages to settle the score with Shockwave before he and Bulkhead put him under arrest.
After the Autobots learn of Prowl's ultimate sacrifice, they take the sparkless body of Prowl and the captured Megatron, Lugnut, and Shockwave to Cybertron.
On their arrival home, they are greeted and cheered on by the other Autobots for their victory over the evil and malevolent leader of the Decepticons.
In this story Professor Sumdac attempted to create a teleportation system to get the Autobots to Cybertron, but an interaction with Sari's key ended up transporting Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Sari to Transtech Cybertron, where they met Flareup and his friends were detained by Shockwave while he was deemed not a threat.
Bumblebee teamed up with transformer named " Joe " to help him and Flareup get their friends. But after Joe exposed himself as a Megatron and uses Sari's key to create an army to begin a reign of terror, Bumblebee pointed out the world's bureaucratic nature that resulted in a mutiny.
Afterwards the Autobots and Sari returned to their own dimension. In it, Bumblebee and Prowl apprehend the Angry Archer as the villain attempts to steal money from a used car salesman.
In doing so, they reveal the holographic trickery of the Detroit superhero known as The Wraith. With the secret of his power revealed, The Wraith loses much of the respect he used to command in Detroit.
The Wraith attempts to stop Cyrus "The Colossus" Rhodes from escaping prison, but is unable to fool the villain now that the secret is public, forcing the Autobots to stop Rhodes and making The Wraith look foolish.
The Wraith then attempts to discredit Bumblebee at a college football game by trapping the Autobot with a car boot and using his holograms to make a fake Bumblebee attack the stadium.
Bumblebee eventually escapes and the other Autobots help capture The Wraith before having him placed in a mental institution. Bumblebee is one of the five playable characters in the Transformers Animated video game for the Nintendo DS.
In the Transformers: Timelines series, Goldbug is an evil alternate reality version of Bumblebee. According to his official biography, Goldbug was once a young drifter known as Bumblebee.
He survived on the streets of Polyhex with no real purpose. He became skilled at sneaking around, stealing, eavesdropping and blackmailing.
He eagerly joined the Autobots in hopes of finding a place to belong and where his unsavory activities would be tolerated.
When the war began, Bumblebee showed extreme bravery in battle and often sought ways to be noticed by command. In time, he worked his way up the ranks of the Autobots and when the Autobot Seeker Drench was destroyed, Bumblebee was offered an upgraded form and a new identity as Goldbug, to take his place.
Goldbug is paranoid that one of his fellow Autobots will betray him and try to take his place, as he did to his former superiors.
When the Decepticons attack the Ark launch site Blurr, Goldbug and Rodimus compete for who could destroy the most Decepticons, but thanks to Cliffjumper the Decepticon attack is successful.
He is among the Autobots who attack the Decepticons at the Arch-Ayr fuel dump. He is later sent to capture rogue Dinobots for the Autobots.
He is part of the group that captures Swoop. Together they steal the Ark, evicting any crew members who are loyal to Optimus Prime before blasting off to Earth.
The Ark then crashes on Earth. Goldbug is among the Autobots brought back online. He initially commands a small group of Autobots who find Rodimus.
Bumblebee is one of the main group of Autobots in the computer-animated series Transformers: Prime. Bumblebee remains more playful than the other Autobots despite his lack of voice, and has come to rely on his speed as his most valuable asset in battle.
Bumblebee is extremely similar to his movie counterpart, sharing the similar vehicle and robot forms, the same lack of voice, and his close relationship to a human boy.
It is also revealed in the series finale episode "Deadlock" that Bumblebee's mouth was covered by a face plate vaguely resembling that of Optimus Prime's that helped him to create the alternative beeping noises he uses as his main form of communication throughout the series.
Later in the series he changes his color scheme by reversing the colors, resembling Bumblebee's original paint scheme in the Age of Extinction film.
Bumblebee returns as the central protagonist of the sequel series Transformers: Robots in Disguise , with Will Friedle reprising his role.
Set five years after the events of Prime , Bumblebee becomes the leader of a group of Autobots that end up on Earth to fight a generation of Decepticons who have re-emerge on the planet after a prison ship crash, being previously put in stasis before the war was over.
In later seasons this expands to battling old enemies from Prime, Stunticons, and the corruption of Cybertron itself.
A constant running gag throughout the first season is Bumblebee's inability to come up with a decent command for his team to mobilize, in the vein of Optimus Prime's famous order to "roll out".
Bumblebee retains a similar vehicle mode as he did in Prime , now a Chevrolet Camaro. However, his robot mode has gone through a serious redesign.
Notably retaking his original primarily yellow color scheme rather than the dominantly black one he took at the end of Prime. Bumblebee appears in the novels Transformers: Exodus and Transformers: Exiles.
Bumblebee appears as a playable character in the video game Transformers: War for Cybertron. In the Autobot campaign, he is first seen racing across the war-torn streets of Iacon in search of Optimus.
Upon rendezvousing with Optimus, he relays the message of Zeta Prime's death at the hands of Megatron ; after which, he joins Optimus and Ratchet in their resistance against the Decepticons on the planet.
He later appears in the final level of the game, where Bumblebee teams up with Optimus and Ironhide to prevent the Decepticon Titan, Trypticon from destroying Iacon.
He appears throughout the game as well. Frank Welker recorded actual words written for Bumblebee which were later replaced with sound effects.
Bumblebee appears in the pilot episode of the series responding too late to a call for help from Cliffjumper, who is captured by the Decepticons and killed.
Bumblebee soon is assigned to be Raf Esquivel's guardian, having grown close to the boy as he understands his language of beeps.
Optimus does not believe him to be worthy of promotion at such a young age. Nevertheless, Bumblebee shows he is still a capable warrior, since he is able to fight the likes of Breakdown and Shockwave.
When questioned by Smokescreen in "Project Predacon", Bumblebee admits he is holding back so that he can one day be promoted to warrior class on Cybertron.
In "Deadlock", during the final battle aboard the Nemesis , Bumblebee tries to give Optimus Prime the Star Saber for him to fight Megatron, but is killed by the Decepticon.
However, Bumblebee fell into the ship's Omega Lock and exposure to the Cyber Matter powering it both revived him and restored his voice.
As Megatron prepared to finish Optimus, Bumblebee used the Star Saber to stab him in his spark, killing him. Afterwards, once the Omega Lock restored Cybertron, Bumblebee gives Raf a goodbye before leaving for his home world where he is finally promoted to warrior class during the series finale Predacons Rising.
However, things quickly turn for the worse when Unicron appears on Cybertron in Megatron's body, and two new Predacons are cloned by Shockwave.
With Optimus on a mission to retrieve the AllSpark, and Ultra Magnus having been severely wounded by the new Predacons, Bumblebee becomes Autobot leader at Ratchet's encouragement as he leads them, the newly defected Knock Out and the three Predacons in making a stand against Unicron's undead Predacon army at the Well of All Sparks, buying enough time for Optimus to return to defeat Unicron.
Optimus reveals that he must sacrifice himself to restore the AllSpark to Cybertron's core, and does not pass on leadership to any one person present, stating that leadership will now be earned through actions.
Bumblebee promises to keep the peace on Cybertron to Optimus, implying Bumblebee to be the new leader of the Autobots, and by extension, Cybertron's new age.
Bumblebee appears as the main protagonist of the sequel series Transformers: Robots in Disguise , with Will Friedle reprising his role.
In the series, Bumblebee is called to Earth when a new generation of Decepticons re-emerges on the planet. After receiving a vision from Optimus Prime, Bumblebee travels to Earth via a spacebridge and discovers that a ship full of Decepticon criminals has crashed on Earth and its inmates have escaped.
Initially believing that Optimus' mission is intended for him alone, Bumblebee ends up with a team of ragtag Autobots, including a rebel bad boy bot named Sideswipe , a hyper active Mini-Con named Fixit, the bombastic ex-Decepticon and Dinobot Grimlock , and a female Elite Guard cadet named Strongarm, in order to combat the Decepticons.
After befriending humans Denny Clay and his son Russell and fighting the Chompazoid Underbite, the group is greeted by the inexplicably corporeal Optimus.
Unable to explain his return, Optimus expresses his confidence in Bumblebee and his new team before departing. While leading the team, to recapture the escaped Decipticons, they come across Steeljaw, an escaped convict who has his own plan to lead the other escaped convicts.
The Autobots would later receive a visit from Bumblebee's old comrade Jazz , who informed Bumblebee that his actions in departing Cybertron had angered the high council.
After helping apprehend a fugitive named Ped, Jazz volunteered to return to Cybertron and inform the council of what had taken place.
The team then received another group of Cybertronian visitors, in the form of Autobot bounty hunter Drift, Decepticon bounty hunter Fracture, and their Mini-Con teammates.
Both Cybertronians arrived to collect a bounty placed on Bumblebee by the High Council for his actions, but Drift was convinced of Bumblebee's nobility after Bee saved his life.
The team managed to defeat Fracture, and though his ship was lost they gained the use of his ground bridge.
After all of them but Grimlock and Fixit were given Decepticon Hunters, Bee and his team would then be forced to deal with Steeljaw's gang again—now including Thunderhoof, Underbite, and Fracture and his Mini-Cons—as both pursued the Decepticon fugitive Clampdown.
Bee's team managed to capture all the Decepticons, but were forced to let them escape when Steeljaw broke free and set an unmanned garbage barge loose in the path of a riverboat.
Drift and his Mini-Cons would later return to Earth and subsequently join the team. The team continued to capture escaped convicts.
Bumblebee was once again contacted by Optimus with further warnings, shortly before Steeljaw and his pack managed to briefly seize the scrapyard; however, the Autobots managed to recover their base.
The team soon gained another new ally in the form of the Primus-chosen female Autobot warrior Windblade, who aided the team in securing the fugitives Razorpaw and Zizza before departing.
Unfortunately for Bumblebee and his team, the threat that Optimus had warned them of soon revealed itself as Megatronus , a disgraced member of the Thirteen.
Having struck a deal with Steeljaw's pack, Megatronus instructed them to construct several devices he needed, which they did after capturing Strongarm, Sideswipe, and the returning Windblade.
Bumblebee led the remainder of his team against them, only for Optimus arrive shortly before Megatronus made his appearance.
Deferring to his former commander, Bumblebee became more concerned with Optimus' well-being and leadership than trusting in his own previous experiences.
Fortunately, his team rallied behind him and gave him the courage to stand firm, which enabled them to capture Steeljaw's Pack after the would-be Decepticon tyrant was ejected from the battle by Megatronus.
The Autobots then fought to prevent Megatronus from destroying both Earth and Cybertron, and managed it after discovering the latent powers of Bumblebee, Sideswipe, and Strongarm's Decepticon Hunters used in tandem and copying the sword form of Optimus' Prime Decepticon Hunter.
With Megatronus defeated and possibly eliminated, the Autobots departed for home, with Bumblebee at last finding his rallying cry: "Rev up and roll out!
With Megatronus defeated and most of the Pack apprehended, Bumblebee questioned whether his fellow Autobots wished to remain with him on Earth.
To a one they agreed, with Windblade and Optimus formally joining the team, though Optimus did so as Bumblebee's equal rather than his superior.
Turning their attention to Decepticon fugitives still scattered around the globe, Bumblebee decided to split his team by dispatching Drift, his Mini-Cons, and Windblade to seek out Decepticons in other locations while the rest of the team remained at the scrapyard.
At their own insistence Optimus and Sideswipe joined the team, which ended up stranded in the Arctic after Optimus' altered state damaged their Groundbridge.
Unfortunately, the remainder of the team soon had to deal with another problem: Overload, a Decepticon who had previously infiltrated the Autobot ranks and caused Bumblebee to suffer serious injuries, greatly embittering the former scout.
Bumblebee became consumed with bringing Overload in, even after the Mini-Con fugitives Backtrack and Ransack were freed during their initial battle; the two Mini-Cons subsequently joined forces with Overload.
Bee would continue to carry out his missions, though once he gained the ability to combine with his teammates, He became edgier on ethics during the Stunticon battles.
He eventually realized that he tweaked a perfect formula for the worst, and resumed his usual command style for the rest of the show.
Bumblebee appears in the episode "Bumblebee to the Rescue", where he helps the Rescue Bots and their human partners investigate a fallen meteor.
Optimus Prime briefly assigns Bumblebee to observe how the Rescue Bots and the Burns family work together.
Cody and the rest of the Burns family are unable to understand Bumblebee and requires one of the Rescue Bots to translate.
The Rescue Bot Blades also happens to be a big fan of Bumblebee who is said to be a legendary scout and war hero by the Rescue Bots.
When Heatwave, Boulder, and Chase are infected by a substance contained in the meteor, Bumblebee, Blades, and the Burns family work together to destroy the meteor and obtain a sample in a hope to find a cure.
Bumblebee and Blades successfully destroy the meteor and retrieve the sample, but at the cost of being infected as well, but thankfully the Burnses use an analysis of the meteor sample Bumblebee found, They are able to find a cure in the Autobots database, curing Bumblebee and the Rescue Bots.
At the end of the episode, Cody is revealed to have learned how to understand Bumblebee. Before leaving, Bumblebee asks the Burnses with Cody acting as interpreter if they can take a picture of him and Blades.
They return to an alternate present with Dr. Morocco ruling Griffin Rock. They fight Morbots, while the Rescue Bots go into the city. They find out they left Dilther behind, which is how the Morbot army exists.
They go back in time to take him back to the present, which is then changed back to the regular timeline. Bumblebee later returned in "Odd Bot Out", where he was sent to search for a missing Cybertronian artifact on Griffin Rock while Optimus searched the nearby seafloor.
To the dismay of his biggest fan Blades, Bumblebee teamed up with Dani, who was temporarily unable to pilot Blades due to her pilot's license expiring.
He returned in the season 4 episode "Uninvited Guest", making a crash landing at the training center and helping contain a stowaway Energon Eater.
Will Friedle reprised his role for the final time here, co-starring with his best friend Jason Marsden.
Rescue Bots Academy saw Bumblebee receive multiple mentions and pictorial cameos, until he was brought as a guest teacher in the episode "Bee Prepared", to the excitement of all the recruits, especially Wedge.
Friedle had been dropped as Bumblebee's voice actor for the series due to the series going non-union, having been replaced by Jeremy Levy, who uses an identical voice used for Cyberverse Bumblebee.
Bumblebee is an Autobot warrior, and is based on the Generation 1 version of the character. Here he is portrayed by Chuck Better known as Yellow Bird.
And one that is based on his Age of Extinction appearance. Both resemble a Dodge Challenger in vehicle mode. Bumblebee is one of the main characters of Transformers: Cyberverse as well as the initial protagonist for seasons 1 and 2 before sharing the role with Optimus Prime, Cheetor for season 2 and Hot Rod for season 3's take on the Quintesson story arc.

December Bumblebee has always been an amazing character and kids love Bumblebee, but to actually have him to be able to express his thoughts, express how he's feeling and express his doubt as he's leading this new team I think is one of the key things that really brought Robots in Disguise together.
